There are several reasons and some of them are the same as for dark skinned ladies :). 1) They are fed up with having limp, straight hair with little volume 2) They love the "exotic" look 3) You always look good, no styling necessary. 4) M TV ;) No kidding...people see black stars with braided hair and want to look like them.
