Going to the vet is necessary evil they hate every minute of it but you do it to keep them healthy. However their are ways to it make more bearable though it never going to be a pleasant encounter.

aaw poor thing! you should put a nice towel on the bottom of the cat box, and then buy some yummy treats that your cat loves and put that in the cage, but not too many treats, maybe 4. and they are only the size of your fingernail. my cat tabby does that when we pick her up, she is very spoiled! and thinks she can do whatever she likes!
My cat doesn't too! But the trick is: put one of his favourtie blankets in the cage, and show it to him a few days before, so he can get used to it. You can also do this when he is going with you on trips and stuff
