  • First BMXPlus magazine I ever bought was the October 1985 issue with Dizz doing a Tabletop at The Venice beach comp. I guess he had something to do with my BMX Addiction. Rock on DIZZ!!!

  • Yeah, DIZZ Rocked!

  • way to go dizz keeping it alive! i remember back in the 80's watching you ride in the AFA contests and in the BMX Plus mags with your wild curly long hair and your your own style and attitude. you were an inspiration to me and my friends. thanks for keeping it real!

  • if you live in the folsom/ sacramento area, sunday mornings around 9-12 me his son and him hit up folsom skatepark. head over sometime if you feel like it, not guarenteed we will be there.

  • A real American original, DIZZ HICKS was a artist, his brush was his bike and his canvas was black top and a ramp. He created alot of the moves , style and attitude that continues on today......he blazed the trail that many follow today, without understanding where it all began, the early 80's and a handful of young ,crazy s.o.b.'s who dared to be original.
