I owned a new 1981 LM Mk3 850 -- traded in my  excellent 1979 SP1000 Guzzi Spada tourer for it. The Mk 3 served me well for 10 years with not a single cent spent on anything other than service consumables and new tyres, but I installed the deep sump extension from new which admitted an extra quart of oil.
