  • Crock pot oatmeal is the best motivation to wake up in the morning short of a naked member of your preferred gender.

  • Did he just say "I pity the fool"?

    Oh Alton :D

  • you stirred it anticlockwise!

damnit man the culinary anthropologist told you not to!

  • He sounds like Eeyore!

  • @defyingravitythruHim not Eeyore. Forest Gump.

  • I eat old fashioned rolled oatz for breakfast every morning. I also do squatz after.

  • @arod2211 there's a man out there...somewhere in a gym...his name is mark..he's sensed your comment and you've made him happy...

  • not meaning to spam, but if you guys are looking for Oat Cuisine 2 ....

  • i love how ab has dried fruit in his pillow and milk under his sheets.

  • @sora201 He's like Ernie eating cookies in bed. I'm wondering how he deals with 5 pounds of oatmeal! He certainly can't eat it all in one sitting.

  • I thought it was going to go

    "What are you ruining today?"

    "Your aaassss"

  • @Olio89 Now that IS funny. ;)

  • lol Bedroom edition :D haha I would love to start my day in the morning light with 5 pounds of oatmeal x]

  • I love W's "badass Dragon Lady Mata Hari" music.

  • wait, so is that his studio or his house or both?

  • @some5672 It's the actual house here but it's not HIS house. It's his directors...i think. Watch 'behind the eats', you'll be able to tell the difference after that.

  • I personally find that 2 cups of water and 1/2 cup of dairy works great for me. The four cups total that he mentions is 'way' to much, wound up with soup...not oatmeal. But still tasty!

  • I just made the oatmeal from this episode and my oats didn't soak up all 4 cups. I would say 3 cups total for red mill steel cut oats. His recipe also makes WAY too much for one person. I have no idea what to do with all of this oatmeal. Pinheads are the way to go though.

  • He says sweetened coconut when making the granola, but the words on the screen say unsweetened

  • Uhm.... did anyone else notice in the bedroom scene that he's actually on the floor? Clever framing/filming.

  • BROWN NOTE @ 3:24

    LMAO

  • 6:13 where the hell did he get those oats???

  • all i know is i'll make my own...no thanks on that batch.

  • you can get true cinnamon at costco :) it is a much better flavor

  • LOL, this makes me happy. I started watching this in the first place because my rice cooker has a porridge setting. It's also a smart one which adjusts the temperature over time to keep it constant.

  • Dubya ;) aaaaaahhhh, if only George was as smart as "W"

  • i love when he pulled all of the ingredients from out of his bed... haha

  • "I hafta tell ya, sitting here in the morning light with five pounds of oatmeal" lol

  • "W" is the hottness!

  • How much food does he have in there?!

  • dude hes like the bill nye of food =D

  • OMG I loved bill nye as a kid

  • James Bond theme! :D I love 'W'...she's funny...

  • '' someone get the back of my hand!''

  • that dosent make sense

  • I pity the fool that doesn't eat his oatmeal

  • i love the turkey above the fireplace, i need 1

  • Ha, I love how he pulls everything from under the sheets!

  • We eat a lot of porridge in this house...on a cold morning it's like a hug from within! And I am full of energy all morning!

  • The overnight oatmeal looks SO GOOD. Enough to make me get my own slow cooker out of storage. lol

  • "What are you ruining today?"

    "Your afternoon?"

    "Besides that..."

  • Love how wrong it looks when he pulls the ingredients out from under the sheets!!

    xx Love this show!

  • slow cooker oatmeal is awesome!

  • Did anyone else notice the coconut part @ 8:33? The text reads unsweetened, but AB is saying Sweetened !!!! What gives? :/?

  • Go with sweetened =)

  • Nice use of Grieg!

Bedroom oatmeal: Very disturbed ROFL. XD

  • try Agave on oats

  • Did anyone notice he said sweetened coconut, but it shows it as unsweetened?

  • For the record...he also said to use vegetable oil for the granola, but the text shows canola oil...no big deal...a lot of the Good Eat's recipes on the show differ slightly from what's posted on the Food Network website...I made this granola a few weeks ago...Delicious!

  • Canola oil is still technically still vegetable oil.

  • id really feel uncomfortable with the bathroom scene

  • He puts sugar oan his porridge!?

  • brown sugar on oatmeal isn't that bad

  • Brown sugar isn't that bad? It's necessary! ;)

  • @bgHopper I hate to admit this habit....but sometimes I hard pack brown sugar into a tablespoon and eat it like a sucker.

  • @bgHopper Alton Brown Sugar :)

  • What else would you put on it?

  • Partially Hydrogenated High Fructose Corn Syrup?

  • Oatmeal my favorite.Thank you for posting.

  • where is he holding those ingredients for the bedroom scene?. its a little creepy

  • I'm a bit uncomfortable with the bedroom oatmeal...exactly where is he holding those ingredients?

  • I'm wondering if it's safe to eat anything cooked inside of a garage?=][Alton's garage slow cooker..?]

  • Is it just me or is W gorgeous?

  • Hehehe! Sounds like someone has a bit of a crush! :-D

  • It's just you...LOL!

  • No actually, he is quite beutiful.

  • swan u know shes really her chiropractor shes an actress on her spare time
