how can 2 people dislike this song???? thats ridiculous. this is one of the greatest punk songs of all time. defo in my top 10 and ive been a punk since `79. those 2 people have upset me.
This song hits a personal note with me. We had a lousy "teen night" that shared the building with the punk shows and some asshole kid drove over 20miles round trip to get a gun and shoot down some (lucky now) sorry fuck.Resulting in the entire building being shut down. The only redemption is knowing the fucker got a 45year sentence. all of 18yrs old, how many years he actually lives i guess is up to him. Now the club's marquee just promotes the apartments the building is attached to.
i wasnt much into the second wave of punk...exploited etc..i much preffered joydivision..but this song floored me when i first heard it all those years ago...soulfull and angey vocal with a garage rythmn and blues rythmn dection...still amazing to hear today...many thanks
@4plates Based on a true story about the one and only club in Gloucester they could hang out at that time, they've used sadness instead on anger.Miff still plays this song with his one man acoustic show.
One of my fave tracks ever

always sounded to me like the singer (miff) was about to burst into tears !.......very sad sound to his vocals!

This song was in 'Punk and Disorderly' and this is how I learned about Demob but I prefer other songs, they can play really fast!!

Classic song, barely suppressed anger in the vocals.
