They should have kept Maul in for the other films. He was much too good to have been beaten so easily. He was trained to take out Jedi for the primary attack by the Sith against the Jedi; which was done by Vader before he was burned and slung into the suit.

Obi wan Kenobi was the greatest Jedi of them all. These are two apprentices, he wins and loses his master takes on an apprentice himself and goes on the search for the sith. Yet he beats Anakin General Greavious had his part to play with Dooku and 1 of the Fetts if im not mistaken. Take on luke as his second apprentice and die for lukes and leias escape from Vader. o and he well kick darth maul ass ere i mean how do people tink maul is better than obi wan?

I like to think Yoda as a greater Jedi. We know not enough about his history, unfortunately. But I'm sure he trained countless Jedi during his 800-year service.

Maul is probably the best duelist of all the Jedi or Sith. But his arrogance cost him the battle with Obi Wan, aggravated with the death of his master.

darth maul is the coolest enemy in star wars. they shouldn't have killed him in the first episode, they shoud've kept him until the 3rd episode and have him replace count dooku because count dooku isn't like cool or anything, he kinda sucks.

Maul didn't die after Obi-Wan cut him in half. He came back with new legs and fought Obi-Wan again right after Obi-Wan and Yoda's exile. He came back again also by ressurrection and fought Darth Vader. Vader won by stabbing himself and Maul at the same time. He came back one last time AGAIN and fought Luke Skywalker as a hologram. But, Luke destroyed Maul's brain which was hooked to a holgram projection emitter.

actually he did die, he got cut in half and fell thousands of feet to his death in a pit with no way back up, the people you describe were other characters, or did you mean the ACTOR played as the other people?

Maul's weapon is one of the best, but there are alo a laser whip, laser nun-chaku, and other weapons preety nice in combat use. But for six movies Lucas chosed these, what was enough. I think that final fight between Obi one and Anakin was the best one.

the ending will always be bogus for me, but without a doubt the best saber fight of all 6 movies.
