  • OH FUUUCK OPIATES MAN! EVERYTHING ELSE IS A WALK IN THE PARK TO QUIT COMPARED TO OPIATES! IM FUCKED ILL NEVER GET CLEAN, I STUDIED CHEMISTRY AND MASTERED IN PHARMACY TO BECOME A LICENSED PHARMACIST SO I COULD STILL LIVE AND BE SUCCESSFUL AND 100% SUPPORT MY ADDICTION. THAT WAS FUCKING HARD WORK STUDYING WHILE AN ADDICT!

  • WEEED!!!

  • Sex.

  • Everybody needs to do a speedball at least once.

  • @Raflegan i agree, just freebase some adderall and oxcontin

  • Thank God for Dr. Drew bringing so much attention to the evils of drugs, I'll bet many people have been helped that we will never know about. God bless Dr. Drew and all those cleaning up from drugs and those learning from this to never start playing with them. Live a clean, fullfilling and happy life... :)

  • @HeRacesTheSun What would be your idea of a fullfilling and happy life? Following a religious dogma and a non existant being? Fuck that, I'd rather smoke weed every day than have a "God" in my life.

  • oxycontin (painkillers in genral) or tabacco in my opion but everyone has different addictive tendancies... or caffeine theres one that most people dont think about maybe not the most addictive but it has the most widespread rate of addiction lol

  • yes heroine is by far the worst, if you get hooked on it you are pretty much fucked

  • Xanax, Crack or Tobacco... IMHO!

  • @MiBlazed Sorry for the late response, I just saw your post. I've been on methadone for a medical condition for years, and even though I'm not an addict and have never abused it or anything else, I have such an intense physical dependency that if I don't take my meds for more than like a day my body just shuts down and it just can't function. I know about withdrawal. I know all about it. I don't think I'll ever be able to get off the meds. What happened to you? Did you beat it?

  • many people quit smoking without clinical help. most heroin addicts can't do that. same with food, it's possible to do that alone. heroin is just not like that. and dr drew knows a lot more about addiction than anyone, even addicts...

  • @peazlove247 I hate hearing that ciggs are as addictive as Dope i was addicted to both and i can tell you ciggs are nothing compared to Black tar or OXycontin. The worse part of withdrawl from ciggs is eather watching some one smoke( being around it) that really the only time i ever got a craving for it. the withdrawl from smoking is pretty much just me not being able to deal with stress thats about it. OXY withdrawl now thats a whole diffrent monster i never stole to get my cigg fix

  • cocaine is not physically addictive like heroin- when you stop doing coke you dont have severe withdrawl symptoms like you do with heroin- you actually feel better when you stop-when you stop doing heroin you feel like shit

  • Dr. Drew suffers from an addiction far harder to break than cocaine, heroin, meth, and cigarettes combined - the incessant need to stick his face in front of a camera and mug for the audience. "Drugs are bad! Smoking's bad! Look at me! Do what I tell you!" Fuck you Dr. Drew.

  • @NyBob85 go fucking die in a fire

  • @sdafdsfsdfdsfsdf agreed

  • @NyBob85 I know, that "incessant need" to warn people about the dangers of addiction and harmful substances. What a dick...it's not like he's a doctor or anything. Or maybe educating the general public is a good thing...

  • @lukesanborn1 Yeah, because nobody would have known that heroin was bad for them without the sage words of Dr. Drew. Many prominent physicians make sincere attempts at educating the public about the dangers of substance abuse and the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle without resorting to cheap gimmickry and self-aggrandizing bullshit. Is he even still practicing and actually healing the sick or is he just a full-time actor and TV personality at this point?

  • im a recovering heroin addict and i always laugh at people who never been addicted to heroin say that think cigs are harder to quit. Its like saying that the world is flat such an ignorant statement

  • Trust me..nothing,NOTHING is harder to kick than longterm, opiate addiction. I was hooked on oxycontin, which is just pharmaceutical heroin, and if not for the miracle of methadone..I would not be here typing this message today. However,I do know that nicotine is very addictive as well...watched both of my parents die because of cigarettes..and both smoked while on oxygen..my father actually tried to take a puff the day before he passed...scary stuff.

  • shut up

  • Actually some really good comments. Nicotine is #1 by Quantity. It is more widely accessable through tobacco use.

Heroin is #1 by Quality. It saturates one with the natural painkilling process and in many cases dilutes endorphine production making it sickeningly painful to stop.

Cocaine is #1 by Quickness. It impacts the synaptic reuptake producing feelings that draw one rapidly into repetitive usage.

  • but propofol is aparently 4x more addictive than herroine. I guess its just not very accessible so it doesn't really apply to people on the street

  • Cocaine is a joneser drug -- when you start coming down, you want some more real bad. That's how it gets you. Oddly enough, the craving goes away if you can make it through the comedown.

  • Thank you dr. drew. Heroin is by far the hardest. People say cigarettes out of ignorance of opiate addiction.

  • Lol too true :P

  • PcPrincess and Tu43 are both correct, however tobacco isn't addictive, it is the nicotine that makes it so addictive. Heroin is the hardest drug to stop using. So what Dr. Drew is saying is that Heroin is hardest to stop, while Cocaine is the one that hooks you on quickest. Nicotine just is the most publicly addictive drug. Which is why you find more people addicted to Nicotine than Heroin or Cocaine :)

  • Yeah, there's no three days of butt piss, puke, retching, watery eyes, runny nose, desire to do absolutely nothing, ability to do absolutely nothing, loss of appetite, et al. when you stop smoking cigarettes. But H...hell, yes. Sucks. You better have some Suboxone on you...

  • 2 questions were asked. Quickest addictive, and hardest to stop. Heroin is hardest due to the fact that Heroin mimics natural chemicals in the body. After prolonged use of the drug, the body stops producing it's own natural chemicals. When a person abruptly stops using Heroin, the body is now without the natural chemical. This chemical controls many things, such as pain, anxiety and many others. That is why Heroin is the most 'physically' addictive drug.

  • Not true. Heroin is actually the 2nd most addictive substance. Through research for a project i came across very good sources pointing to tobacco being number 1. It is highly addictive,it can kill you and the easiest to get around the world. Just think about how many more ppl that you know that uses tobacco rather than the amount of people you know that are heroin addicts. Also how hard is it to quit something that you come across on such a regular baises.

  • BS. H is a 600 lb mountain gorilla on your back. Nicotine is a 5 lb chihuahua nipping your toes. that's why people steal, break into houses to get a fix. Not so with cigarettes. I've quit them both. I only had to quit nicotine once. I've quit the other 1000 times.

  • It's offensive to say that nicotine (or tobacco in your words) is my addictive than heroin. Not only stupid, but offensive.

  • There aren't enough long videos of Dr. Drew online. I need moaarrrr

  • I second that.

  • well listerine taste nummy give you a good buzz
