Yes, the property OWNERS can kick you off, NOT the faculty, NOT the staff, NOT the President of the University, NOT the campus security. They were at a public event and are allowed to do the same thing as the public they are amidst are allowed to do. Which in this case was SPEAK THEIR MIND.
Now, the bullhorn is NOT illegal. Some cities do have statutes for bullhorning, however, it is OBVIOUS that this is not the case here. Charges for illegally using a bullhorn are for noise ordinances, and/or illegal use of ampilfication equipment. The charges being sited by the local cops were, "tresspassing," and, "disorderly conduct." These charges have absolutely nothing to do with using a bullhorn, and these people were NOT violating these laws uder their legal definition.
These people had the RIGHT to be at a PUBLIC venue where the PUBLIC was invited (not certain individuals, i.e. guest list), and where the PUBLIC was allowed to speak their minds.

There are no "private univerities" anymore. They all take federal funds through pell grants.
If he had known that, he could at least sue the university.
For instance, Louisiana College, use to be a private baptist college many years ago that had laws against inter-racial dating on campus.
The moment they took pell grants, they could no longer do that.

Elected officials SHOULD be in public forums, and in a perfect world they would be.
It's a sad indictment of the state of things today that candidates have to be somewhat sequestered for physical safety reasons. It's also sad that candidates have to get all their queries filtered through the likes of brokaw instead of fielding questions directly from the attendees due to too many instances of the attendees lacking comity, combined with a lazy/fearful candidate.

This is a 1st Amendment issue. You are correct, "Congress shall make NO LAW," but the cops, are NOT allowed to redefine current and legit laws, like, "tresspassing," and, "disorderly conduct," and contort their meanings into color-of-law ABUSES that are then used to violate our GOD-GIVEN HUMAN RIGHTS!
When they say it is a violation of FREE SPEECH, they are trying to show the cops that what they are doing is ILLEGAL. And that there is NO LAW that allows the cops to do what they did.

What you describe is also Psychology 101.
When something or someone disturbes the sheepled crowd they get stressed and are relieved and cheer when that disturbance is removed. The crowd is conditioned to react this way and the people who are destroying this country DEPEND on this in order to maintain their control.
However, we have to do something to WAKE THESE PEOPLE UP!!!

Yes, the property OWNERS can kick you off, NOT the faculty, NOT the staff, NOT the President of the University, NOT the campus security. They were at a public event and are allowed to do the same thing as the public they are amidst are allowed to do. Which in this case was SPEAK THEIR MIND.

Now, the bullhorn is NOT illegal. Some cities do have statutes for bullhorning, however, it is OBVIOUS that this is not the case here. Charges for illegally using a bullhorn are for noise ordinances, and/or illegal use of ampilfication equipment. The charges being sited by the local cops were, "tresspassing," and, "disorderly conduct." These charges have absolutely nothing to do with using a bullhorn, and these people were NOT violating these laws uder their legal definition.

These people had the RIGHT to be at a PUBLIC venue where the PUBLIC was invited (not certain individuals, i.e. guest list), and where the PUBLIC was allowed to speak their minds.
One of the O'Bama NUTS even got in this guys face and cursed him out for saying that McCain and O'Bama were the same, but the cops did NOTHING about that even though that IS a violation of law. That's assault. But did they or you care about that? NO!!!
What about EQUAL PROTECTION UNDER THE LAW?

There's been a two party system ever since the begining.
The Third Party (Green, Independant, Constitutional etc.) needs to make more of an effort to be recognized. One reason why they aren't taken seriously is because of the approach of most of their supporters.
For instance this video, if they would of made signs and kept the yelling to a minimum they would of been allot more effective than yelling with a bull horn for a few min. then getting thrown out.
