this is a system u can see anywhere in HK.u use it on bus,minibus,subway, supermarkets,vending machines,convenience stores,and various restaurants(mcdonalds,kfc etc).the black screen show u how mcuh u need to pay. and the green screen on the device shows the remaining money in your card. To recharge the card,go to subway or any convenience stores.

This is a very common. almost all ppl live in HK use this. if u have a card,u dont really need to bring cash =]

it's ok, i've found the answer is no, as it's generally just a standard fare regardless for a particular bus, except for a few routes. (^_^)
