  • I hope this will be added to Universal's Reissue of The Game coming in June.

  • As far as unreleased material goes, this was one of the better songs, IMO. While I'd love to see a B-sides/outakes album, the fact is the majority of the material that never made it to album wasn't very good.

  • don't like it...too moody, some good elements but under produced.

  • one of the very few queen songs i dont like. it sounds like somethink off his solo album.

  • Thank-you for posting :) Great to hear this after wondering 25 years ago; seeing it in my queen music song book. Makes good sense it didn't make the album; it's pretty rough ;-)

  • This is such an amazing track! I wish I could get my hands on it!

  • I fucking love you man!!! Thanks for posting this! I could kiss u now!!!

  • shit

  • My name is Adrian ... I live in romania .. EUROPE .... queen died when I was little and when he broke the news on television the whole family started crying even news presenter ... was loved and will be loved anywhere in this world have loved R.I.P. Queen ..:((

  • I love the vocals!

  • whatever happened to the Singles Collection box sets.... thanks to them we're getting VERY FEW official releases of these gems..

  • this is a kinda cool song

  • Fantastico!!!!! Pero quedaria mejor si la cantase Freddie Mercury! O esta canción era del grupo de Roger Taylor, The Cross?

  • I wish this was on the album!

  • Forgot this song even existed... it kinda reminds me of Drowse in its tone and stuff.

  • You should check out the maida vale stuff - there's so much unreleased stuff. Maybe EMI's hanging on to it the way they did with the Beatles. Who knows - think they peaked live and on record around 1980 - so yeah, would love to see a '70's gig or 10 - even Live At The Rainbow rereleased for public consumption would whet the appetite.

  • Yeah - I like this for the rare, slightly trashy, underproduction - nearly a subtle Queen track!! it obviously didn't get the full treatment. I listened to the title track and C-lebrity from Cosmos - think May's still inspired but would've been better off calling it Smile+Paul Rodgers. No John no Fred no go for me. But glad they're still creating - for their own sakes!

  • Best Queen B anyone? Hard to choose - but at a push I'd go for 'I Go Crazy' - though if I thought about it I'd be torn between that, 'Soul Brother', and 'See What A Fool I've Been'........

  • Though I would have preferred to have this on The Game instead of Coming Soon.

  • It's not the greatest song ever written, certainly.

  • This is one of my faves. Very Roger with the sci fi lyric and his waltz. They did some decent 'B's. Nicely hidden on the single. Wish they would reissue some of this stuff. Highlander sound track, maida vale notw sessions, Langholm studio Liar version is something too.

  • I agree they should issue something with outtakes/rare songs on it. Queen don't seem all that keen on issuing stuff that fans are really really interested in. They keep putting out live DVDs all from the early 80's (no 70's stuff at all, which fans really want to see) and never any rare outtake/unreleased stuff on official CD releases. Instead we get 'The Cosmos Rocks''. A bit of a shame, really.

  • I couldnt agree more

  • I think this track is rather ordinary, personally. It sounds a bit like a demo for Roger's early solo stuff. It drags and doesn't go anywhere. I don't like Coming Soon but at least it has got a bit of life to it. This is hardly Radio Ga Ga or Breakthru, is it. Overall, I don't think Queen is a band with loads of rare/unreleased gems.

  • Well Your Wrong.

  • ''Well, you're wrong'' is the correct version.

  • there shoould be an album with all these unreleased songs

  • PS: This is one of the stronger Roger tracks. I am not very fond of his voice and style, but he did create some great tunes, like Tenement Funster, this one or Hijack my Heart.

  • I personally love that kinda "raw" sound in his voice. I agree though. I think this is one of his stronger tracks. Definately worth a listen.

  • Is it just me, or is Brian gorgeous in the beginning of this video?

  • Just GREAT !!!!!

  • VEry nice song...my first unreleased queen song ...

  • I like this song.

  • great song.....HUMAN

  • This is a great track. But they should have left the "human human" shit.

  • OMG ive never heard this before!!! and i thought id listened to all queen songs too!

  • to Gobglubby: unless u've heard all 354 (maybe more i dont kno how accurate the list of them i have is) then u havent heard every queen song

  • Never heard this before. Thanks for uploading.

  • This is fabulous. I thought I had heard every Queen song made. Little did I know. Looks like there are quite a few surprises out there

  • thankies for this vid!

  • I recall this song well when it was released . I had that particular recording .what a great band

  • Another great song from Queen that is not that well know.Origanally appeared as B-side to Play The Game in 1980.

  • This song was released as a single only. Its not available as part of an album. One of the best Rogers songs.

  • how many songs altogether? like 300- something?

  • oh heck lets count 600 with unreleased onces.

  • im just discovering this 'other' queen songs =)

  • pretty song

  • this version is at a wrong speed/key.

  • burkezillar - I'm sure it's at the right speed/key. I've got the single (it's a B-side)

  • Where can you get hold of the song man? It's great and sucks that it's unavailable on any of their albums :(

  • i know in trying to look up all their songs so far i have about 60...i have a long way to go><

  • Roger did not like it anymore, so it was left out from any Queen or Solo album!

  • They should've put this song as a bonus track on the '91 remastered version of The Game. This song rules. Was this song recorded in '79 or '80? It sounds like '79

  • it was the flip side be of play the game in 80

i dont know why queen hasnt released an album of bsides u2 has and nothing against u2

but queen has so much material out there its dizzing

  • Queen should've just put their B-sides as bonus tracks on their '91 Hollywood Records remasters, instead of those dreadful remixes

  • LOL! I KNOW! the hip hop flavored dragon attack come on

i had to take so much shit from all the metaloid headbangers in high school back in the 80s because of freddies moustache and queen experimenting with synth R&B and when hollywood reissued the catalog i was sickened with some of the results

  • Yeah. Hot Space-kinda cool. '91 remixes-lame

  • JIF882, exactly what I was thinking. Instead of including the B-side on The Game's re-release, they added some awful pseudo-rapcore remix of Dragon Attack. Ditto with Hot Space, Soul Brother isn't on it either.

Luckily, See What A Fool I've Been can be found on HR's Queen II, along with a pointless remix of the A-side. I have most UK single releases, but I wouldn't put them under my shoddy record player. Shame that Extended Vision only came along with the boxed set Complete Works.

  • Actually, the extended version of One Vision is on the A Kind of Magic reissue

  • Ah I mean "Complete Vision" (not Extended). It was a B-Side compilation that came along with the Complete Works box set (14 LP's from Queen - The Works). It featured all non-album B-sides + Thank God It's Christmas, One Vision and Blurred Vision but was never released as a stand-alone item.

  • Wasn't it called Blurred Vision? That's the song I was talking about

  • Hollywood Records did well adding "Mad the Swine" to the debut, "See What a Fool I've Been" to Queen II and "I Go Crazy" did appear on The Works re-issue here in the US on the Hollywood Records issue. Why "A Himan Body" was left off The Game re-issue for that piece of shit "Dragon Attack" re-do with that lameass rap shit baffles me. Also "Soul Brother" in retrospect should have been on the Hot Space re-release but never mind now.

  • floyd.....What?? Dragon Attack is GREAT!!! Did you ever hear the Montreal version where it's imbedded into Now I'm Here? It is SO COOL!!! It's become my new favorite lately!

I don't know what you mean about the 'rap' sh**.....?

Love Mad The Swine, too! Love them all actually!

    FREDDIE rockssssss & rulesssssss!!!!!

  • @FREDDIEKINGOFQUEEN The "Dragon Attack" "REMIX" on The Game re-issue that Hollywood Records released in 1991. The remix of "Dragon Attack" on The Game reissue released in the US and Canada had rapping crap added. I wasn't talking about the song itself but the pointless remix. Dragon Attack is a great song but the remix sucked. This track could have been placed after Save Me. Either that or put it on the album after Crazy Little Thing to make the playing time over 39 minutes.

  • floyd......Oh.....I'm not familiar with that version I guess. Can't even imagine it! I hate that rapping crap too, or as I call it, (c)rap!

Thank you for the explanation. I probably would agree w/ you then. Peace!

  • Was this song recorded in '79 or '80?

  • i love Queen!! thanks for posting^^ great vid. btw
