  • AWESOME PROGRAM. EVEN BETTER INSTRUCTIONS. THANKS ALOT. BRING IT ON CONFUSING NEGATIVE NUMBERS!!!!

  • @lutwey For me, it's not that the negative numbers are confusing. However, they are tricky and easy to make sign mistakes in adding or subtracting. My favorite thing about using the program is avoiding the sign arithmetic mistakes. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

  • @gdawgrapper so true. arithmetic can be a lil tricky with negative numbers? its forcing me to work extra slow making me more nervous while taking the test. well not anymore. hope my instructor is cool with me using a ti83 though. thanks again.

  • that was fantastic, thank you so much for taking the time to do all that!

  • Mine said syntax error! Help?

  • @0220beast Could be a lot of things. On the calculator there is a minus sign and a plus sign. If you choose the wrong one, that could be a syntax error. Also, the wrong number of parentheses. That's about all I can tell you without looking at your entered code. If you go through the video again code line by code line, that might be the best way to catch your mistake. • thank you so much sir

boy, that was a pain to type in, never mind to take all the screen shots and make a video

helping a ton of people, thanks

  • @Sean1831 You are certainly welcome. Yes, it takes a lot of time, but maybe not as much as you think. I have done this so much that something that looks like it would take a real long time goes a lot faster for me. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

  • awesome, thanks

  • that was great.

  • Thank you very much sir!!!

  • this is so cool!

do you think you could show us how to do the midpoint and slope formulas all independently?

  • @hawshew If you look at the program code, it takes common input data, x1,y1 and x2,y2, and uses the same input data 3 times to get midpoint, then distance, then slope. If you go into the program code, you can just do the midpoint, for instance, by just doing that first cycle, which is only the midpoint formula, then don't put in the other two. I thought it would be more convenient to have them all in one program. Thanks for viewing and commenting.
