  • ..... Are you sure Shaolin are allowed to teach to the general public?

  • I need a teacher Shaolin T_T

  • That is awesome. I love how good of a teacher you are, going over the drills 3 times rather than just once; 3 times usually increases memorization for when I go to practice on my own.

  • Kung Fu version of dream hands

  • Tkhats one advanced kata!

  • Xièxiè.

  • He has really good balance!!! Have you seen his side kick? HAHAHA!!!

  • Teach me kung fu for free!!!!

  • @RiderOfGreece All of the ppl who said negative comments about him ALL know that they would get their mess ROCKED by him hahaha Haters

  • Practice, practice, practice. ALL the fighters in the world have to have a form to start from. The shaolin have developed many styles, including all the animal forms. They are some of the most adaptable styles out there. You well never learn all the styles on a computer. All the people that say shoalin would not be good for MMA your mistaken. This is the kung fu everything started from.

  • @NONAG0N thank you =D btw, if you like flashpoint there's a movie called shaolin that came out in Hong Kong and a few other places. If you go to the right site you can watch it on the net. The Us realease comes out in about a week and a half. Watched it and I thought it was an excellent movie. It has Wu Jing, Xian Yu (who's an actual shaolin monk) and jackie chan briefly as a cook :/

  • @NONAG0N exactly. It's all about spending the time to train. I completely respect the shaolin and their way of life but I don't care if it's a shaolin monk or some random goofball, you would think that both you and your student should be doing the same thing so you don't confuse your audiance. Some people might even think what the student screwed up on is the correct way and then practice it. doubtfull but some people...

  • @NONAG0N insult me if you want but the best fighter that ever lived did the same thing. You stick too close to routine or step by step forms then you lose the adaptability required in any fight with someone who knows more than what your joe schmoe knows.

  • @NONAG0N next time try the reply button on comments, genius. As far as learning from a video, you don't need to know the form already to learn it again on video as that make no sense at all. However before learning any of the stuff this guy is showing you're better off knowing the concepts of kung fu as far as the way you strike and the way you move. If your saying good luck to me trying ot learn from this, then your the one out of luck. As I only integrate things I like into what I know.

  • This is awsome

  • i know drunken boxing and a little bit off 18 dragon palm

  • Cool

  • Finally!!!!!!!

  • it's nice to see the slow motion ... but he should do it once, right speed.... to have an idea...

  • @RiderOfGreece I might not be a grand master but if nothing else I can say with confidence that at the least he didn't teach his student this before making this vid because if you look at 1:43 the students left hand is at the complete opposite position of the teacher.

  • @suckmeballsalot Did you actually go through the movie to check for an error?

The kid isnt a Grand master either - and i highly doubt The teacher would not teach the child how to do all of this before the first video was made, get over yourself.

You just said your not a Grand Master, so dont critise one.

  • @WeCanGame I watch kung fu vids to learn but if it looks sloppy then I'm not going to try to learn it. This isn't sloppy but there is a few errors. As far as teaching the student before making the vid, don't you think you'd want both you and your student to have it perfect before putting in front of millions on youtube including other martial artists to pick out flaws in the art? doesn't look good when "2 people doing the same thing" are not doing the same thing.

  • What did Johnny do to diserve all that??

  • i very much liked this video i cant take formal martial arts right now so im using this to pick up on some movements breathing exercises this is truly great

  • @diablosonz That's good of you! It's good to hear when ppl. are learning any way they can!

  • love this monk but that raped kid behind his is shit.. he doesent know what's his doing look at his hands at 0:10

  • @prexic13 hey dude be quiet he's still trying to learn that form thats why he looks so clueless. Next time think before you say.....it's not right to talk about people who dont mess with you thanks

  • LOL DUMB PEOPLE DONT LEARN FROM THIS, ITS HORRIBLE.

little red boxing? HAHAHHAHH. people like this ruin shaolin kungfu. this is so bad i cant believe it. quit everything you are doing when u are learnin from this video.

Hóng means red in chinese, however the character for Xiao Hong Quan means Small Flooding Fist and not Small Red Fist or Little Red Fist. haha fail kungfu.

This is one of the worst versions of the form I have ever seen. WOW STOP RUINING SHAOLIN KUNGFU>

  • @fastlight007 lol listen to you...... your a fuck head

  • @ArrcanarStudios says the guy whose learnin from this trash XDD shut up kid. ull get smacked by anyone when ur learnin from this. little red boxing LOOOL calm down.

  • @fastlight007 nope im not learning from this you better watch out for the dragonfist style looool

  • @fastlight007 Because you're a professional at this right Captain Dip shit? When I see your vids on youtube teaching how to do this better, then you can talk. Until that moment in time comes baby girl, Kindly Shut The Fuck Up. =]

  • @AcidicBathWater calm down retarded mad kid. go learn ur little red boxing HAHAAHA. ill stick to my shaolin essence and learn real fighting arts, while u learn bad chinese, bad styles and bad movements.

  • @fastlight007 heh i dont really want to get into this but seriously ur just like any other person who has learned ONE style of martial arts. After you start learning it you start thinking its the greatest style in the world. All styles have their pros and cons.

  • @animeizmylife where did i ever state that my style was the best? and no...there is no such thing as a style having pros and cons. they are all equally good. the person who uses them has pros and cons. and obviously this is video is full of bullshit. calm down and dont make dumbass accusations.

  • 你好

  • shaolin kung fu movies look cool but it isn't only to fight it is way to clear your mind...

  • Comment removed

  • @BlackMask165 PATIENCE

  • @VikingRaider right

  • i love shaolin...but i dont have some place to train it....so i can¨t do somethink like butterfly.....but i really love the fighting style....i really want to go to china and learn it all...:-)

  • My sifu makes me do alot of movements slow and your not allowed to loose your balance. he is always loosing his balance, for someone who's suppose to be a shaoling monk. his gung fu is really lousy.

  • I found this video to be very great and most helpful.

  • somone tell me how moves like this is going to help you fight defend your self im not being rude im just asking please tell me

  • you real man

  • very nice.I wonder why china does not make anymore classic kung-fu movies?

  • @roti822000 Because fucking holywood brainwashed everyone my friend :(

  • @roti822000 watch ip man 1 and 2, greatest kung fu movie of this generation :)

  • @OldschoolDresta

donnie yen plays as ip man right, and the real actual ip man is called yip man, not ip man

  • 马步都扎不稳,教什么武术嘛!i agree! ( WTF????)

  • Two birds with one stone?

Teaching his students and making youtube videos at the same time :D

  • u fakin noobs i learned a lot from this i am in holland and i saw all his videos so dun say he's doin wrong noob becz he can punch and hurt u with 1 hand ;)

  • doing the form and explaining at the same time is not as easy as you might think. It divides your concentration.

  • the kid is kind of a grasshopper. But the sifu teaches well enough assuming you already know the movements to some degree.

  • Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us... i am very grateful

  • @LOLanjello you are a very kind man xD

  • these guys can generate amazing power not to mention there awesome flexibility

  • not this guy in particular. he's a bad hack.

  • he learnd me a lot. im gonna mail him to come to holland

  • hmmm taijiquan would wrek any one using this style, lol.

  • i know ppl sey it isnt, but i think its alike karate a bit coz it luks a lot like sum of the katas ive dun

  • some karate have moves that are derived from kung fu....so it makes sense....my karates circular blocks comes from kung fu

  • So do my circular blocks from Tae Kwon Do but that style was a mixture of chinese and japanese styles as well as ancient korean styles.

  • It is, Karate is a mixture of many martial arts. It's also believed that the man who created Karate would go in a field with a bull and beat it soo badly the butchers at the time wouldn't even want it!

  • just try it again and again and u ll see its not tht difficult to learn, just try to and study the different movemetns

  • i'm getting a little bit confused

you say this video includes the final section, but there are 4 or 5 more videos with a form wich got the same name

are there two different long-fist-forms ?

  • 什麼是

  • fake shaolin monk, just a rubbish.

    假和尚,半点功夫没有还冒充少林武僧,简直丢中国人的脸,

  • lol. why'd you say that? is he doing it wrong?

  • he doing wrong.....

  • @ShaolinLand not only is he doing it wrong, he NAMED it wrong and most of the WRONG movements he is doing he is doing VERY sloppy. i donno who this guy is but he should be banned from all that is shaolin!

  • @XshaolinkidX Where is your video? Why don't you show everyone how it's done?

  • @silentfist862 i have several up, and i learned from shi yan xin himself for SEVERAL years. the translation isn't RED its flooding. which makes sense considering every move is in then out, like waves crashing on a cliff. also all of his pu bu's his back heel comes off the ground which completely deroots the stance

  • @XshaolinkidX I didn't see any vids on these forms, but I loved the training vids (scorpion walk in particular). Thanks for taking the time to write back an intelligent critique. :)

  • their is a LITTLE bit of xiao hong quan in my strive for everything vid but not much. though i know this form it's not one i commonly practice. it dosn't suite my fighting style. i prefer qi xing and luohan. of course. haha i don't argue for no reason =]

  • Its quite rude to call out names. hes just trying to help anyone thats interested.

  • /watch?v=BFSbwj63hGg&feature=related

  • he is fake

  • He can't even do his stance firmly ......

    so unstable.....

  • Expertvillage is going to amass a huge "online disciples" following.......

  • Dropkicke, you must be such an expert yourself.. Oh wait, you aren't. He's loosing his balance cause he's going super slow for our benefit. BTW, you can't even play guitar man. Keep playing guitar tho and maybe one day you may not make such horrible noise with it.

  • In fighting, having a strong stance will prevent one from being easily knockoff balance and fall. Once you fall, your attacker will get the advantage and can hold you to the ground. Since he is supposedly consider a master, even in doing slow motion, he should still be strong and solid. The lower body is the base in fighting and therefore should be very strong at all times.

  • Im sure he's skilled in Jujutsu Too..If I am knocked to the ground Jujutsu kicks in. Kunk fu is more of a close contact art...Maui Thai a Distance game, and Jujutsu a ground game...with these three together.....you're just the shit.

  • 马步都扎不稳,教什么武术嘛!

  • @KivaEmperor Yes, I agree

  • Shaolin monks rule, period.

  • let' s see this monk waste some poor ass guy. i' d like to see him fight.

  • who is the newbies in background? lol

  • He has no idea what he's doing. His shoulders are hunched, he doesn't know the form. It actually detracts from the monk trying to show the technique. Very sad.

  • he is a newbie himself lol. phoney shaolin monk its like hes doing a choreographed dance

  • i agree lol. i was about to say the same.

  • anybody know where he gets his shoes?

    cause, i love em.

  • i don't know bout this guy but any of you nerd can get some money from your parents and go to China shaolin temple, try go pick a fight there.

  • you should all praise this man he would be ridiculed back in the day to teach such sacred things to outsiders what he knows cant be found in a book

  • ...to teach 'such sacred things" o.O. go look up some real longfist wushu forms. the stances are pretty week...and u culd tell he loses his balance every other move. tryin lookin up wu di or zhao qing jian from the beijing wushu team. those are the real people. if hes going to teach anybody he should atleast teach them right. bad habits are hard to fix...and its pretty hard to believe that this person is a shaolin monk. he would be ridiculed to be caught in public showing this off in china

  • /watch?v=chcQPwYbWow this dudes right. watch that. that's real shaolin. ull see a HUGE difference

  • hnu hnu hnuhnu hnu hnu my kung fu hnu hnu hnuhnu hnu hnu

  • wtf

  • Why is there a kid in the background if your recording to show us.. Kid needs deeper stance and more practice.. Hope this one was he's free lesson..

  • ooowch, i tried the one where you kind bend close to the ground and it hurt so bad, probly cause i need to stretch alot more :D

  • Can I call this man my 2 teacher because I study a lot from his Shaolin Kung-Fu. I like Kung-Fu so much actually this style witch your two hand's working together, they attac together and defence together.

  • you think? you must know how to defend

  • Comment removed

  • O.o

  • o__o ... interesting ~ =]

  • : )

  • how do u get ur knuckles bigger and harder

  • Didnt you know? thats The Secret. Sorry I cant reveal it.

  • Wolffs Law states that bones and soft tissue reform themselves to accommodate stress.

I built my knuckles by wrapping towels around trees and striking them after having used a normal heavy bag for awhile. You can do knuckle pushups.. really anything that causes minor-major stress on the bones of the hands.

Results are noticeable. You should work on building your cartilage first then move on to your knuckle bones by using more force in your exercises. you can also just punch your fists together

  • you have a point .your martial art is very old but the way of fighting is diferent from the way that use thousand years ago!!but asol your martial art is equal with jkd because all depends of the master

  • Kung Fu depends on the one using it. I think if you train this for many years. you will be able to use many combos including these very advanced combos without thinking of it.

  • they are good but this things can't be use on street!!!the most effectiv and real martial art is jeet kune do!!but all depend from the master and there is not more stronger or less stronger martial art there all equal !!!

  • I guess you haven`t any experience in street fighting.

    At first

of course is no tequnique equal

I can now say, that I know how to use whats shown and I don`t want to destroy your dreams but Jeet Kune do is one of the most useless tequniques at all.

Everybody, who thinks with logic would know anyway that a thousand year old Fightform can`t work worse, than a 40 year old, that bases on it

  • so what is the moust effective technique in street fights ? i wanna kick some asses on my HOOD

  • most effective? the mighty westcoast finger pulling the trigger technique.

  • boxing

  • you are wrong the most effectiv is not jeet kune do but it's tai chi

  • A martial artist doesnt even have to throw a punch against a "generic" street fighter. They through some off balance, hook meets jab with he smaller knuckles, you step to the side, do a simple leg kick, and they waste themselves on the pavement. LOL... street fighters.

  • how is this useful in a street brawl?

  • monks start their training at the age of 6

trust me they know how to use those things on the streets, not everything though but most things you see in all those forms can be used by the monks because of all the training they did

they train a lot harder than other martial artists

  • and only the toughest 6 yr olds will be selected

  • yep every single day, starting at 5:00 the morning and continuing on for hours.

  • beautiful form. beautiful uniform. orange was the Buddhas favourite colour. the colour of peace. some people are looking for a fight, we must help them

  • This guy does not have beautiful form. A practitioner who would never gloat on youtube has beautiful form.

  • yes. the form is beautiful, but the monk performing it maybe is a little messy at points. maybe its because hes focused on teaching instead of learning. and maybe its from something where he didnt realize was gonna be on youtube. i dont really think he's gloating, such a beautiful thing is hard not to share when your learning it. my opinion.

  • w w w(dot)youtube(dot)c o m/watch?v=pwlDMEmAB28

    This is beautiful.

  • yes. thank you for sharing that. that indeed was beautiful. there ws a point in the middle of that form where it seemed like he floated. thanks again, peace.

  • well he's moving slowly and teaching at the same time, i'm sure if he was moving this at the full speed it would look much better

  • yeah maddude3 your right. his focus is external instead of internal.

  • The fact of training yourself will help you more than any pure knowledge. That's why martial artist are strong, because they train, not only because they know how.

  • hear the shaolin wind he creates at 1:15

  • its the microphone rubbing against his uniform

  • listen again. its the Qi or life force. energy.the same stuff that has propelled many opponents across the room with the minimal effort. watch Bruce Lee do a one inch punch.

  • ... LAME

  • the first 4 seconds I didnt understand a word he said.

  • 0:41 the boy at the back....BUCKLED ROFL

  • HUNG HAI FAT CHOY SIFU BRUCE, I miss the classes. Well omi to fu.lolol

  • lol i agree with

    krillansavillan

    its mesmerizing

  • You don't need to be a bujin to have a personal motto or creed. the bujin just cal it by a different name but it's all the same when it breaks down. Yes Wutang may only being saying it to seem cool, but he may also be serious. This all has nothing to do with the video which is what comments are for. As far at this set its the most difficult for me to get down because hes facing away from the camera for most of it. I watch this vid a good 3 times a day and is till don't think i have it right.

  • i have no interest in kung fu, but i love to hear him talk, its mesmerizing.

  • if you have no intrest then fuck of

  • im into ki and iron palm, thats it.

  • sammy that aint the way to talk to people

  • what ever

  • nice videos

  • this is good!, you have to learn forms, sets, grappling and ground fighting to be a good martial artist, not only forms or just kick and punch a punching bag.

  • thebrand79

Please don't use this vid as a reference of true martial arts, im not insulting anyone in this vid or something, but all I'm gonna tell you is that the real and dangerous martial art (Kung fu or any other) are not shown that easily. The one that you see here is modernized which means that the essential and true movements are gone and replaced.

Again not insulting someone, only saying what I'm thinking.

  • I agree with you, but this is traditional Shaolin forms. If you look closely, every movement in this forms has meaning. While most people will not be able to spot the application behind this form, traditional martial arts would be able to appreciate the application behind this guy's every move.

  • ok, I think the discussion, whether it's traditional or not, is not that important to go deeper in. After all many forms may be traditional, but only slightly changed.

The more important issue is this: many of his movements are kinda inaccurate or "sloppy", so application would not be effective.

  • -.- i will never click on a kung fu video after what i just saw!!!!

  • ok correct me if im wrong but i dont see how this would be useful in a street brawl. If it is please explain how?

  • are you insinuating that any martial arts move or technique or training method must be super-effective against some mob attacking you in a backalley with knives and baseball bats? I must remind you that the average chance of being forced to fight under such circumstances are relatively small. Unless you are starting the fights. Then you should go learn russian martial arts, krav maga or boxing instead.

My point? There are several aspects to martial arts besides self-defence.

  • well yes if your in a 2 on 1 confrontation where your in a clinch with one guy and his friend is coming around with a knife or some blunt object, most martial arts do not teach defense for those types of situations dont get me wrong I think muay tai judo ju jitsu etc... can be useful in street fighting. But i agree that krav maga is best for the street because it doesnt follow any style really teaches headlock counters etc.... its good to prepare for the worst. thanks

  • I was trying to say that no martial art is better than the other. It is all a matter of preference, interest, or even what you "stumble upon", if you get me.

  • when he crouches down and points his fist at the floor what is the purpose of that, and also what is the purpose of what hes doing at 1:37??

  • Don't ask me, I don't know much about gongfu. But I know that in gongfu, every move has its purpose. No move is wasted. That's a basic principal, as far as I know. But if I should guess about that fist-towards-the-ground-thing, I'd say it has something to do with balance or changing stances. The latter would perhaps be reminiscent of when you change fingerstance while playing the piano. I don't know. It would be nice if someone with a little expertise could fill me in here.
