Also 2 years ago for the first time i found the Star Wars: Christmas in the Stars cd having never heard of it before i was happy to get it. Unfortunately like the holiday special its not very good but i think its a must have for a star wars fan. If the holiday special was ever released on dvd i would buy it just to have it. But im sure Lucas wont let that happen.

The fact that they use the Revenge of the Jedi title, there are actually different lyrics to Max Rebo's performance at Jabba's and David Prowse is speaking through the Vader mask is quite amazing. I wish I could have grown up around the premiere of the films and to see them untarnished by Special Editions and added scenes.

@JeffTheDudeAbides - It's actually David Tomblin himself doing the voice of Darth Vader and not David Prowse. He also did the voice of Boba Fett. It says so on the end credits.

I have no clue, i love it. Compared to the holiday special this is a delight to watch. I own the more common but still rare holiday special to but that one you only want to see onces and then never again hehe

@Exstaz How do you own the holiday special i thought it has never been released. I just watched The Star Wars Holiday Special for the first time this year, and now this movie thanks to you. I have no idea how i have never heard of either of them until now seeing as how i been a Star Wars fan since i was a kid. But its a nice surprise to not know something exists for so many years and then finding it especially at this time of the year so these both were christmas presents for me.

@mrkhamaileon its a bad TV rip. I can upload that to if anyone wants to cause youtube now allows longer videos. The holiday special is something George Lucas wants to hide cause its not something hes proud of have done.

Booth project are hard things to come by. No decent copy's ever existed.

@mrkhamaileon There are no official releases of the Holiday special but as far back as I can remember before the net there were lots of videos you could order. It was never a problem getting it because it did not have any offensive material like a lot of rare mail order videos. Thank your lucky stars there is no DVD of this abortion of a cash grab.
