These are two different components I hear on Supertramp's first Top 40 single, "Bloody Well Right" (#35, 5/24/75), even though the two were used in separate contexts, with the role of the Cry Baby Wah pedal used for the song's blistering opening guitar lines.
I used this exact setup back in 1972! I played the band's 'up on cripple creek' and i got the wurly/crybaby to sound like a jew's harp! it was great. the wurly is made for the cry baby.
Thanks everyone, if you like my simple videos you really need to dig on the player (youtube name is volvoxburger)-dude has several Rhodes pianos, wurlitzers and he can Flat out play!!!...check some of his tutorials and his impromptu jam sessions with youtube players around the world
There is nothing like the real thing. A friend of mine went to London for some shows and left his Wruly and Rhodes with me for a month. I am now back to playing digital. Even the newest keyboards out there like the Korg sv1 is not even close. Theres too many layers and idiosyncrasies to emulate completely. I don't see them ever being able to do it right. Now need one of each... stat!
@experiment0003 Yeah i know, but i'm just saying that the Crybaby is a Wah-Wahpedal from dunlop not from vox... Crybaby is just a type of wah, but it is not the general name of any wah pedal...

OK, so yeah... I'm not totally getting this setup... Heard a few that came close, but the digitals just can't emulate that sound.
Nasty groove here. A++ thumbs up.

@wouterwouterwouterso Vox is the original creator of Wah Wah pedal (1966)... not Dunlop... dunlop makes some pretty decent pedals though

I think that's the combination that Richard Wright used on Pink Floyd's "Money"

Interesting sound texture. It softens the A200 and it gives it a more comfortable (less bell-y) sound. Pretty cool video !
