I saw a match where Gasquet hit a shot similar at Wimbledon, only it hit the net post going out, then curved back in. Also, this type of shot is very legal, lol, but dang is it ridiculous :D I only recently learned a consistent curve around the outside of the posts, and I can pull off this shot every once in a while, but it's pretty rare to be set up like this in the first place. To react so calmly, it shows Fed was made to dominate despite adversity.

Then singles sticks would be used and if it hit the net post while singles sticks were used, the net post would be considered a permanent fixture and not part of the net, and therefore out.
