I was looking for some really cool videos of lightning. I decided to click on this one, and i'm sorry i did. The lightning is great but the music is realllly bad. It's just bad. Bad Bad Music. If you even want to call it music. To tell you the reuth it sucks. Reply if you'd like, i never open replies, it will never be seen. This sucks.
@MiRoux444 I just saw this in my inbox and was honestly happy to see something that didn't have to do with it a)not being ball lightning and b)having tunnel vision on the radio tower, it may not be ball lightning, but the radio tower bears no significance other than monitoring the change in pace -- but yeah it brought me happiness, sorry you don't like nor enjoy Rammstein its your God given right at least your brain appears to be fully functioning which is refreshing

It's unfortunate, but it seems that Germans will forever have to live down the Nazi thing by asssociation. By the way I believe that music is personal taste, but personnally I don't dig this music...sounds mechanical, war-like,aggressive and just plain calculated, shock-schlock- just my oppinion.However,as a soundtrack to a vid of lighting striking, one is immediatly reminded of the "chain lightning" which was the symbol of the "SS", so it's definitely not helpful to dispel the stereotype.peace

I have heard people talk of stories like this. My father had a close encounter as a child with ball lightening. I myself have seen it in the sky a few times.
Sucks that I couldn't see the ball lighning but I knew it was Ill. in mid winter since you got a really good shot of tree (shaped) lightning near the begining. That's pretty rare in my books since i am rarely there at that time and it's the only place I've seen it before (2x). Love it!
Looks like a transmitter /receiver of some description to me. Thought it was at a Rammstein Concert for a min which would've been cool but I think not somehow.

Where's the ball lightning? the only thing I can see looking vaguely like it is that blinking beacon thing which is probably on top of a building. Because the video is slowed and sped up a lot it may look like something weird...for a moment at least but look at the rythem (in the shot from 1:16 and onwards)
That is ball lightning at 0:06 and a bit forwards. No building. Check it when the lightning strikes, like at 0:32, and you'll see there's no building close to where the ball was.

This is ground to cloud lightning, and a few lightning rods are probably throughout the city, hence the lightning striking more than once in the same place.
LOL great observation niagror! yeah being so distant in time I don't think these two lightnings could be so identical in shape. Even comparing 3:20 to that of 3:26 is a bit overkill to say it is not fake... Very similar lightning must occur in a very short period of time IMHO.
I also agree with pottawatomie2. It is totally regular lightning, not ball lightning.

That's more like a UFO. From what I've seen ball lightning moves, like the one which floated up to my kitchen window and stood there for a couple of seconds before it exploded with the loudest bang I ever heard. It was amazing,,,like a golden ball of light about 6inches in diameter. It looked like it was liquid or alive or something,,,like it was aware of me and watching me. Very strage and very freaky. It just stopped a few feet in front of my face at eye level as if it knew I was there.

No man -I didn't give it the oppurtunity. Anyway it didn't stay around long enough. Next doors green house got some glass busted though. My mate freaked and ran outside to see if his motorcycle was still ok (big girl)- as if his bike would have been attacked by a bit if ball lightening. I know someone who had ball lightning come right inside his kitchen before it exploded. Poor old geezer was terrified. Make sure you tie string round the bottoms of your trouser legs in thunderstorms to be safe.

most ball lightning is caused when lightning strikes something, vaporitzes it , and it sizzles as it slowly drifts to the ground or burns out.
Uusally it's birds, or material peeled from a wire or some other object.

I have heard people talk of stories like this. My father had a close encounter as a child with ball lightening. I myself have seen it in the sky a few times.

Sucks that I couldn't see the ball lighning but I knew it was Ill. in mid winter since you got a really good shot of tree (shaped) lightning near the begining. That's pretty rare in my books since i am rarely there at that time and it's the only place I've seen it before (2x). Love it!

starts as a regular cloud 2 cloud then goes up into a sphere form then zig zags down goes out the other way and perfectly repeats!

Not sure, The 'ball' of light near the start appears to be a light beacon on a tower, other than that the other lightning activity is anvil crawlers.

Where's the ball lightning? the only thing I can see looking vaguely like it is that blinking beacon thing which is probably on top of a building. Because the video is slowed and sped up a lot it may look like something weird...for a moment at least but look at the rythem (in the shot from 1:16 and onwards)

That is ball lightning at 0:06 and a bit forwards. No building. Check it when the lightning strikes, like at 0:32, and you'll see there's no building close to where the ball was.

This is ground to cloud lightning, and a few lightning rods are probably throughout the city, hence the lightning striking more than once in the same place.

LOL great observation niagror! yeah being so distant in time I don't think these two lightnings could be so identical in shape. Even comparing 3:20 to that of 3:26 is a bit overkill to say it is not fake... Very similar lightning must occur in a very short period of time IMHO.
I also agree with pottawatomie2. It is totally regular lightning, not ball lightning.

That's more like a UFO. From what I've seen ball lightning moves, like the one which floated up to my kitchen window and stood there for a couple of seconds before it exploded with the loudest bang I ever heard. It was amazing,,,like a golden ball of light about 6inches in diameter. It looked like it was liquid or alive or something,,,like it was aware of me and watching me. Very strage and very freaky. It just stopped a few feet in front of my face at eye level as if it knew I was there.

No man -I didn't give it the oppurtunity. Anyway it didn't stay around long enough. Next doors green house got some glass busted though. My mate freaked and ran outside to see if his motorcycle was still ok (big girl)- as if his bike would have been attacked by a bit if ball lightening. I know someone who had ball lightning come right inside his kitchen before it exploded. Poor old geezer was terrified. Make sure you tie string round the bottoms of your trouser legs in thunderstorms to be safe.

I've seen aliens too. I don't like them or trust them,,,but they haven't done any harm to me,,,other than spook me out. I think they may be antichrist or Godless creatures,,but that's just my opinion. I trust in God,,,not alien creatures. Jesus is real,,,but I don't think aliens want us to believe in Him or look up to Him. That's just what I think. I feel safe with the Spirit of Christ who has power over all things - including aliens.
