  • Why was there a stethoscope there?

  • Sick "Free as a Bird" version at the beginning

  • Working class my ass. How much do think Yocoocccccoo,s outfit cost.

  • for the record, i only endured the "music video" caus john was in it.

  • Did he wear the same outfit in the Yoko film as he is on the show? at least in some bits

  • I like the music, but would be better off without vocals.

  • Talk...

  • why so much attention to yoko- that must have been a condition of the interview - and so he aspired after it all to be a minor avant-artist?? with no impact

  • why so much attention to yoko- that must have been a condition of the interview

  • lennon was a wimp fuck em

  • oh john nobody forgot you when you died we all still cherish and admire you because Lennon Saves

  • She just can't sing, though john tried his best,,,,she was a clever artest, but singing,,,,,NO

  • She just can't sing, though john tried his bestm,,,,she was a clever artest, but singing,,,,,NO

  • Her music isn't that bad, it's really mostly just the singing which is different and not liked and honestly probably never will be but she did think uniquely and her art was amazing.

  • She's totally sexy!

  • Check out the bullet belt! and the leather gear! Awesome....

  • Yoko, your music sucks

  • fucking awful! She really brainwashed Lennon!

  • @TheBlackBabyJesus

Unfortunately John Lennon was like that before he met her. They were both sex addicts, not very monogamous and drug addicts no doubt. Just because he outwardly expressed these things after he got with her doesn't mean he didn't love her. John Lennon did believe in world peace and everyone coming together, however he was also a very bitter man. They both are not normal by regular society standards, and I'm not a Yoko Ono fan at all, but he did love her.

  • You can tell he loved her so much.

  • @TheSweetMuffinKitty and he was obviously insane!

  • @danutcase66 : "John was happy?!" You obviously did NOT read Seaman's book, which is about the last few years of John's life. Honestly, in a strange way he was blessed to have gotten shot, in the sense that he was very miserable. We are looking at the first years of their relationship, after the May Pang affair, etc. Have you read May's book? It really backs up a lot of the description of Yoko as being manipulative, ignoring John, etc. but maybe John was a pain in the ass, also.

  • @lemurianchick : I meant that this video is BEFORE May Pang, the separation, etc. His life became very empty, although at the time of his death he seemed to be on the upswing.

  • @danutcase66 : Well, we have to look at John's state of mind. The more I read about him, the more I think he was seriously traumatized as a child and probably had never really gotten over the abandonment issues he suffered. And so if someone takes advantage of that, I don't have a high opinion of that person. But I do feel that if John volunteered to be used for money and status, it was on him. He wasn't screwed up to the point where he couldn't make his own decisions--so it's on him.

  • @danutcase66 : Read Fred Seaman's book and get back to me.

  • this song isn't half bad.. I mean.. the piano is very pretty.. and idk maybe it's okay. idek right now..

  • what do you guys think of yoko's pop song?

  • @UltimateVenom shit lol

  • @UltimateVenom : Um...no comment. Just feeling sorry that John had to try to make Yoko successful as a popular artist. Oy...

  • The beginning I skipped, the end I watched about 3 times!

  • wetpuppet2007 I love your comment. I wish you were here John!

  • Aww, they're holding hands. So cute.

  • Awful woman!

  • Wow - John shows himself to be such a nice guy and so sweet and respectful to Yoko!

  • Did they just get to cut to commercial whenever they wanted?

  • Dick: When the four of you where together

    John: who?

    Dick: You and the other...

    John: O yeah!

  • Is there any artist more pretentious than Yoko Ono? But John sure seemed to dig her...

  • I Thought It Would Be Howling, She Is A Good Singer, Well, That's Better Then A LOT Of Things That I Have Heard Her Sing, :D

  • 1:43 i guess John might have inspired michael jackson if you know what i mean;)

  • Yoko is such a psycho. I know John loved her, though.

  • @bklies She had that whole asian please your man thing. i know a couple of asian chicks that are bitches but they do their man good.

  • "Mrs Lennon" ... It's no "Imagine" xD

  • at around 8:31 right after John says "paperback", it sounds like he mumbles "writer"... paperback writer, pretty witty.

  • I am not a Yoko fan, but I have to admit that during this period, she was pretty smoking hot. Especially in her leather outfit in the music video. It reminded me a lot of John's photo shoot with the Beatles. I also think they look very much in love during this whole thing. :O

  • Her fluxus stuff is ok, but this song is really embarrassing

  • i loved john and yoko, but as a couple, i dont know why we have to listen to yoko sing just because shes johns wife.....she cant sing, simple as that, and the songs she made sound like a cat in agony....sorry but thats just fact!!

  • @Pussycatfeathers You couldn't be more right. Yoko was and still is ... a joke as a musician.

  • Man yoko sucks all around She just sucks at film making, and singing and everything she trys

  • John Lennon's one of the most awesome guys ever.

  • I actually liked the Yoko song. The piano and bells sounded really cool/creepy in a good way.

  • That was quite a Barbarella outfit Yoko wore.

It seemed like this interview was more about promoting Yoko's work than talking to John.

  • 0:45 CROTCH GRAB!

  • lol i quiet enjoyed it! :)

although there could have been a few more rhymes

  • the song is called "Mrs Lennon"

  • i can never tell where all the footage is originally from because they used it for so many different things. and for some reason the music video strongly reminds me of the part of the movie imagine where yoko pauses for a minute, then looks into the camera and say's ''he was an old soldier who fought with me''

  • 2-as for Yoko's singing, at least she tried!! i give an A for effort!!

  • as long as one hippy walks the earth, there is hope for a better world!

  • @acerb45666555 Don't worry, man. Hippies are dormant everywhere, just waiting for the moment when they are needed.

  • @PiggyPinedog PEACE!!!!

  • @acerb45666555 Like the Manson family?

  • @TheBlackBabyJesus ....noo! not that Manson shit! those were idiots! ..i mean the Real hippies and theyre beatnik progenators. they wanted a better world far beyond Mansons alleyways and primitive uneducated tough guy crap.

  • @acerb45666555 What's the difference?

  • @TheBlackBabyJesus ...............the differance is a true "genuine" socially aware peaceful hippy wouldnt set you up for a burn! but one of Mansons bunch would have robbed you blind!

  • @acerb45666555 I fail to see the difference. All these gruby hippies need food, drink, rent...when they can't pay and get hungry what do they do? Easy for Lennon when he has a zillion dollars!

  • @acerb45666555 thank you for saying that. you should come over to brighton, england. we're practically stuck in a 60s hippi time-warp over here!

  • @acerb45666555 It's "Hippie" not "Hippy"!

  • @acerb45666555 You might not be an idiot but that statement makes me think you are.

  • @violetbrad ......it was not thought out well. the reality being than anyone can burn anyone.

  • 7:06 "I don't really care if I'm forgotten when I'm dead"

Well you won't be John. Love you man

  • @wetpuppet2007 'wetpuppet' haha thats a funny name xD

  • My ears started to bleed at 4:01. Now we know why Oko Ono never caught on.

  • Lennon/Ono she got

  • By this time the 'moment' had long gone

This all feels like the aftermath

  • What do you mean?

  • The whole '60's revolution with all it's hope and innocence and how it was going to change the world - embodied by The Beatles

Here's Lennon looking directionless with his weird girlfriend, murdered at 41

All a very far cry from the optimism and excitement of how it all started

  • I don't think Lennon looks directionless here. I agree with you on your other observations here, though. If anything, I'd think it sad that Lennon was still optimistic for change when really--even then--it was beginning to seem more and more unlikely.

  • @grai Couldn't have put it better myself, this was exactly the vibe I was getting. It is quite a sad interview in a way.

I also just felt awkward for his sake, cause obviously he's in love with her and has the obligation to show her independant style artistry, despite it being no where near up to scratch of his own legacy. I suppose love is blind for everything.
