Only when your using an IR form of night vision, not when your using starlight night vision.

why not build a video processor to frequency shift bands A-D infrared,(800nM-12uM) down to 400nM-750nM and output to a display,?and make each band switchable A/B/C/D FROM NEAR ir TO THERMOGRAPHIC.

No, not one for camcorders, the genuine one the military uses, I believe there avs-14 or somthing like that
