I remember taking the Q111 red Jamaica bus to Jamaica Ave from Springfield Gardens. It was in the early 60's.

My Mom and older brother.

Walking under the EL.

Stopping in almost every store along the street.

The automat.

Some small candy store that had the best jelly beans. Good thing Mom also loved them. The bag was bottomless. It lasted all the way home and then into the night.
