  • looks like a snob, stuck up little gayboy....

  • I remember when I was growing up in London in the fifties hearing Jackie's version of La De Dah and immediately going out and buying it with my pocket money; however I am sure when I saw him on TV he wore a kilt; in fact I only ever think of him in a kilt, am I mistaken? I hated the King bros, totally square man!

  • Ye Gods!. My (grown up) kids think that things were hip back in 1958. I hope they never see this!

  • Proud to say this legend is my uncle.

  • that is my best friends grandad :d.

  • sad to say I remember when the king bros first appeared on tv, they were very young and was dressed as cowboys, does anyone else remember this..

  • Damn...after seeing what a geek he appears to be in that performance would you want to talk about it if you were he?

  • TO be honest I havent ever spoke to him or anything, the only sorce of speaking I had with him was one time he got really angry at us (we stay above him) because we played really loud music. Then afew months later my friend came back with this and it was so crazy!

  • Nah he is living in edinburgh around the corner from where I stay. Its absoloutely crazy how famous he was until we randomly came across this.

  • great guy

    regards

    Gerard

  • I think you would have gone down a storm on BGT Jackie. Excellent !

  • I agree, jackie is my grandad, he is married to my gran. He has never changed

  • Brilliant, I used to love this song, Jackie Dennis is cool!!! Love the haircut and strides!!! If he were on Britains got Talent now he would be a sensation!!!

  • Has someone dropped an eel down his back on live Television?

  • Surely, he's a puppet, is he not?

  • To think now that these people here are old enough now to collect Social Security.

  • And how many of YOU would have liked performing live to a studio audience & 5 million televiewers aged 15??

    No video/DVD assistance in 1958.

    Good old Jackie!!

  • Might be a nerd, but that "nerd" made a lot of money...and you?

  • Oh brother...sorry, but this guy is nerd city. I don't know how those girls kept from busting up. Who let jr. out of his room?

  • Fantastic!! I love hearing the King Brothers sing! "Hand Me Down My Walking Cane" is excellent, and the "Six-Five Jive" is a nice encore to the first song. Not to mention that there are some pretty ladies in the audience as well. Thank you for postings this clip!!

  • jesus christ, i never thought "Hand Me Down My Walking Cane" would be on youtube. thanks for posting it.

  • Jackie Dennis is an awesome performer! And he's only 15 years old. Great song and love those tartan trews.
