The protoss was bad. I guess he was expecting a 3 base zerg. But he could anticipate it by seeing those drones mining gas for so long. Normally zerg gets only 100 gas for speed and gets the back to minerals and expand after that.

Fast expand PvZ is understandably intimidating to approach, especially against strong players. I could understand why someone would think a 2gate would be stronger. At least until they watch this replay. lol

at the time i think there was a probe in his main base and it would take that much longer before the protoss player would know about the spire.

and cause that probe was scouting his main so he put a spire in his nat so the probe wouldnt see it

although the probe should scout it anyway lol
