You also see camera shake and Scott Mollette make a "Fuck yeah!" gesture because we got it to work right the first try - We "edit" everything beyond the splash of blood out, before Brock Klein rolls over on his side (showing his sliced pant leg). Not sure why the effects guys had to cut the pant leg, personally I think keeping it in tact would've kept the hose from lashing around like the stinging whip of Youtube commentary :)

Pissed I wasn't there for this effect. That was EXCELLENT!!! I am kicking myself that I didn't captured footage of the last day of shooting. When we blew off Kyle's arm! Live & learn... Huh?!?
