this is a rare gem.....unique and unusual.....great musicianship too.......enjoyed this immensely.....thankyou for this post......time well spent!......
The train sound effects are real life recordings of the exact train. For example, the hall class is a recording by STEAM SOUNDS.com of a hall class traveling through Wales in the eighties.
The background birds are a recording {by me} made in Lake Garda and the thunderstorm was recorded on top of a hill in Tuscanny, Italy. The school ambience was recorded outside a school in Val D'Isere in theFrench Alps.
I spend five days with little sleep filming the train set
At the start in Llanharan, my Grandads house was number 45 on Bridgend Road, he was a professional pianist, who played for Sherley Bassey, Tom Jones, Brotherhood of Man and many more famous artists
My uncle Billy bought me most of the train set from 1978 to the early eighties.
I really miss my mother, grandad, grandmother, Uncle Billy Auntie May and this film is my thanks

Great fun and some corking blues saxophone playing. Love the train soundtrack with the model railway.

I love this film! It's quirky and original. But I don't think it will get the same number of views as Rebecca Black

Includes the best chip eating on British film.
