I may be wrong, as this is just my interpretation of it, but it was more as a sort of a dark reflection that we're still so far from that utopia Lennon dreamed of

im a big tool fan but i dont know why fellow fans try to hipe up his vocals like its a legendary voice not just a legendary band because if were just being honest he is an above average singer at best. Its the lyrics and instrumentals that make tool/ perfect circle great. if noone here was already a fan and that guy singing bohemian was a random u would say not bad but definetly doesnt blow me away with his sound or vocal ability

It's funny, because for years, I just dug how rockin' Maynard and TOOL were, but the more I hear his voice, the more I realize that he sounds good all the time, doing everything. Every time he does something new, I'm always impressed how great his voice sounds.

Its such a difficult song to sing because Freddie Mercury had such an amazing range. if you read anything about him online he had one of the largest ranges in the history of rock music. Its pretty rare to find someone with the same range that can make every note sound the way it was meant to.
Love Maynard and Billy though. I don't think people give Billy Howerdel enough credit. After all, he did write APC's music.

@shakeandbake257 Disagree. I think Maynard has better range than Freddy did. Freddy is a legend, but Maynard is an achieved scholar whose studied musical theory for YEARS. His lyrics are prophetic, and his voice continues to grow as time goes on.
