Even as a kid, I thought it was cool and different that they made toys based on a hard R rated action flick. They also made Robocop and Alien figures. I guess our parents simply didn't see the fuss, as opposed to today's ultra-protective parents (who are, ironically, the generation that grew up with Terminator and Robocop figures).

Awesome, i saw this movie back in 91 when i was 10 years old about 4 times in my city and i had nearly all the merchandise including shoes to Lunchbox to these toys with thanks to my parensts and paper-route money i saved. I still think i have some in my attic, what memories and i do find it strange they sold an R-rated movie to kids.

some of them were alright, like the Terminator with replacible Head and Arm that's battle damaged version looked alot like the T-800 minus the ripped off part of his robot arm. and that John Connor with teh Dirt Bike was alright except he was alittle tall in comparison to the 10-13 year old character from the movie.

T2,, Transformers, Gi Joe, Ninja Turtles, Mask, etc,, and ended up selling all of them to a Comic book store afew years ago for 100bucks... Now i wish i would have kept all of them. I'd say i could have sold them on ebay seperate and got more then that out of them....

ahh so maybe it was a good idea 4 me not 2 get him. the kinds of Terminator figures i had purchased were the T-800 technopunch, the T-600 technopunch(i think those were like a bronze color), i had terminator with some open wounds so u can tell he is T-600 and i got the 1 where his face chest n abdomen pop off with a simple twist of his right arm. these toys bring me back 2 my youth.:)

o ya i also 4got 2 mention i did have a figure like that. it was based off of the Aliens movie. i 4get the name of the alien i bought. i think it was like the scorpion alien or something cuz of his tail n stinger. anyway he explodes as well. there's a lil button thats blended in with his tail. the sad thing is i can't seem find his back anymore. ya i loved that toy 2 :(
