  • "And we'll bee in here thinking what a sucker you are!". LOLOLOLOL, they don't make quality like this anymore! Wish these guys were still living!

  • Give me two eggs. One poached and one scrambled.

  • I laught so hard at the scene from 5:59 to 8:15

    There so fucking hilarious.

  • I love Groucho! :p 0:26-:32 "i can see you right now in the kitchen bending over a hot stove, but i cant see the stove" lol and 8:26-42 rofl :)

  • Margaret Dumont is so perfect as a foil.

  • These were first shows on Broadway, at least some of them. the boys ad-libbed like crazy, and writer George S. Kaufman stopped a rehearsal once to say: "Wait a second. I though I heard something I wrote."

    Or so the story goes.

  • Will you marry me? Did he leave you any money? Answer the second question first.

  • He reminds me of John Lennon and Woody Allen

  • Don't know why, but I completely lost it at the trenches line.

  • Is his moustache painted on his face? Sorry about a silly question, I'm new to Marx brothers. This looks really good :)

  • @kokokoko344 Yes, and his eyebrows. Enjoy discovering them. Arthur Marx's book My Life With Groucho is hilarious.

  • @kokokoko344

Apparently when they did live stage shows, he had a fake moustache, a one night couldn't find it, so spread on shoe polish for the fake one, and kept it in the act.

  • @jojojo943 Cool. I like the painted moustache idea, I never even noticed it's painted until the close-up. It's quite surreal, because you'd think an actor playing someone with moustache would pretend to have a real moustache... But it works perfectly

  • The Prince of Wales lol

  • Witty, fast talking, awesome facial hair, and the inspiration for Bugs Bunny. I love this man.

  • lol, "One morning I shot an elephant in my pajamas, how he got in my pajamas I don't know."

  • I used to love these movies when I was kid, I've seen all of them several time, but not for about 20 years. I'll have to look them up, Margret Dumont, All Hail Freedonia!

  • no one could deliver an insult like Groucho....LOVE this...thanks so much for putting these great clips all together!

  • ...and two hardboiled eggs

  • @gunsnammochannel *HONK* ...make that three hardboiled eggs.

  • I'm so glad that my dad got me into the Marx Brother movies. They make me laugh more then most of the movies today. More substance, too. :)

  • I don't get the part about saying "tusks." 1:21-1:28. Can someone explain please?

  • @Thethezeppelin Tuscaloosa is a city in Alabama. He was talking about how hard it is to remove an elephant's tusks and made a pun about that city name which is somewhat close to saying "tusk are looser".

  • @TheTubePortal I meant the part when the guy says "Oh simple "Tusks," then Groucho says "Pardon me my name is...." what ever the rest is.

  • 1:52 ROFL

  • I love him. Whoever did the 2 dislikes are just haters.

  • Go. And never darken my towels again.

  • he's got twice as many legs! the whole clip is "freaking unbelievably funny"

  • "We took some picture of the native girls, but they weren't developed. . .but we're going back in a couple of weeks. . .!!"

First time I heard that, I nearly spit up from laughing so hard. . .

    I steal so many of Groucho's one-liners for myself, it's ridiculous. . .I love this guy! X-D

(In fact, as I'm sitting here watching this, I'm reciting all of this lines as he says them on screen. . .lol)

  • @DCMan06 asked:

"i've never seen any of his movies. r these all from just one movie of his?"

You asked this 6 months ago, on a Groucho Marx video. The answer is No, these were clips from several different movies by the Marx Brothers. Some of Groucho's better jokes. If you search "You Bet Your Life" you can see Groucho hosting a game show, that allowed him to fire off one liners. Some very funny stuff, some of the best of USA TV.
