i put my females in a cup and let it float on top of the water..and used scotch tape to tape on to the sides of the tank to hold it steady..

looks good so far, as for the female, from the images shown it doesn't look like a crowntail, but the quality is poor, so don't 100% me on that. I breed also and have a number of crowntail females, especially from a previous spawn. mine are about 7month-8months old.

It seems you have a filter(spong filter is best) a water heater(80degreesF) and cup and some Live plants, Live plants will help produce infusorians and microbes. This will be another food source for your fry.

umm Y do u need a sponge filter 4 betta fry?oh and Y must u keep the water so low?

sponge filter helps clean the water and water is low so the pressure of it (water) does not crush them

hey well ive been breeding bettas now and well add some plants in there and i would also not breed that female because well the female is crowntail and well you wan frys to look like their dad right well i would recomend you getting a roundtail female for better chance ok good luck
