Thinking of getting the Prophecy. But is it better than the Access Virus I already have. Mainly for leads, basslines and arps?

Hi , for the money its a near perfect machine , is sounds different from the virus , i have programmed both virus and a prophecy to combine in my acidtones project , get both n get my patches 128 sysex , hook em both up and you have instant Fun / synth madness . :)

The good old Prophecy - i had one middle of the 90s, now i have a Korg R3, just the same sound, but polyphonic ;-)

The Korg Prophecy is the most prized possession in my studio. The vast range of sounds you can generate from this board is truly amazing.

youl be pleased to know i have constructed a Access Virus sound set also that layers directly with the Prophecy on program change.

The sounds of both machines can combine to make a larger even more complex sound , with the Prophecy as the controller , much movement and warping of the sounds is possible using mod wheel & ribbon controller / velocity /aftertouch alone
