there is no limit to the amount of players in a siege, it's open world pvp.

I played WoW since beta, to jsut before WOTLK, played the pvp in this game and it beats WoW pvp 100%. Collision system and fair classes. The sieges rock, and 100% better.

Omg, how did you manage to get more than 15 people together at once, and actually attack a keep!?

Maybe its just my server, but its so underpopulated on the order side, and ALL keeps are destruction owned probably 95% of the day.

Heavily populated servers seem to be more active RvR wise....Right now the problem with most medium populated realms is everyone is too spread out across the tiers. Right now on my realm order owns every single Tier 3 keep because most of the Destro are still stuck in Tier 2 leveling. Once everyone is together in tier 4 the action will intensify on smaller servers. The same thing happened in WoW with regard to new server's PvE progress.

looks like the guy playing in beta (nda breach btw by the looks) is using lower settings because it's a siege aka mass fight ---> fps drops.

and to the people. YOU CAN PLAY IN CLOSED BETA WITH OUT SIGNING THE NDA - unless you're in a company like Gamespy and therefor have special deals with Mythic.

WAR will be better than LIch King. in WotLK blizzard can't decide what the goal and major focus will be on aka they are lost. So they put a bit of everything inside. Which means you will get a small bit of each which will get old very fast. WAR focuses on RvR combat as the major meaning this goes in one major direction. And that's very large scale pvp. The one thing WoW could never bring to an RPG.

I don't think anyone is going ot say that it is going to slay wow in just 2 months or anything. However if you look at history up until wow the best MMO was DAC. Thew WOW came out which took a lot of the good things about DAC and put them in their game. Now The creators of DAC are making their next game so its hard to think that the Godfathers of MMO aren't going to release a game that in time will eventually be even with WOW on members.

The cape is not an item like in WoW as far as I know. It's like the cape in Guild Wars, in that each guild has it's own cape with it's own colours and symbols and all members of the guild bear the cape.

There is collision detection. So tanks can literally stand between a healer and a mob or player and make it difficult for them to get past/around them.

wow is the current king of mmo's, its unlikely, and virtually impossible to trump wow. IF war is a huge success then they would likely be strong competitors.

This game is focused around large scale pvp battles. WOW is focused around small horribly imbalanced arena pvp and a heavy focus on PvE.

There will be PvE in WAR. but WAR isn't a PvE progression game, its a Realm vs Realm PvP game.

If high elves are "like humans" that would make dark elves like humans because they are the same race, just different beliefs. Also, Chaos are corrupt humans, making them the same as order too if we go by your analysis. If you knew anything about warhammer you'd know they are totally different.
