@irishcowboy42 OMG, a gentlemen challenger as to my nonsense, of course there is such a thing as Irish cowboy. You bothered to fire shot back across my bow my friend, nothing more. My point is to needle, nothing more get an intelligent response other than vulgar language.
@superunt43 If that is the case then your needle is blunt my friend :-). I have great time for Mr Numan (webb) and what he achieved early in his career but the notion that he was an original is just folly I'm an original though as yes i'm irish and i own a stetson!
@LivinWorstNightmare wow.. thats a big step.... i wouldnt go that far...Bowie's LOW is at another level entirely... but i agree that numan had a knack for creating some interesting unusal synth sounds
fantastic 1st song i learnt all the parts 2 could already play guitar lent a synth of a m8 + bingo i nailed it. 4 got this 1 utill yesterday + BANG nailed it again. what a great muzzo + still @ it!!.
@AshleyMarkPomeroy Seems it doesn't it......Maybe Mr Numan should re-release as a single in its own right. It certainly doesn't sound dated....to me anyway.
A big nod to Roxy Music's 'The Numberer.'

One of my favourite Numan tracks.
I still have the original double cd compilation I bought as a teenager. If memory serves me correct it had this album on cd 1 and The Plan on cd 2.

"We are so fragile
Advertising lies that are whiter than yours
We are so fragile
They could give us a war just to keep us amused"
so true...

Gary Numan is a gateway drug to the Avant-Garde.

B side of Are Friends Electric , and I actually think this should have been a single on it's own, though I suppose it's short and sweet..
