I from NY also, and I hate this place. Nothing to do evening on weekends, you better find something to do because after 1:59 am its over, at that time you won't find anybody around for miles. If it wasn't for my job I wouldn't be here. Anyway after 6 months I will be going back to a real city.
Agreed! Also, with everything there is to do around here, people's enthusiasm is for shit. Since when is a ''good time'' nothing but a bunch if irritating cliques? Also, even if you did share some of their thoughts, it's still no use. Not only are there almost no jobs here, but the pay and people's work ethic sucks. Other than that, my biggest pet peeve about this shithole state are the people. Good luck moving out. I have to endure this shithole saturated with transplated a-holes.
I've lived in N.c. all my life and still haven't gone everywhere. I do travel a lot. There is so much to do here if one just leaves home and do lots of exploring.
Why would anybody want to move to PUTRID North Carolina? NC is the last fucking place I'd go to with all the obnoxious retards everywhere. I am glad a lot of NC FUCKAS never leave NC. The rest of the country can do w/o N(auseating) C(owards). Each and everything about NC makes me sick as if I want to throw up.
Sorry for being derrogatory (sp?), but I posted that message a few months ago when I was really pissed. With me, it was my parents choice. They love it down here. Still, I hate this place (NC) with a passion. These southern morons think it is so great (just b/c of their putrid sports and colleges). They do deserve some credit for Duke (one of the top colleges in the country), but I get sick of hearing these NC DOLTS talk about that shit on a daily basis.
Everyone is passionate about the area they grew up as it is familiar territory. I have visited some northern areas and I wouldn't want to live there as I don't feel the comfort of familiarity. I love Boston and have been back many times, but so good to come home to N.C..Good luck and give this move a chance. One can find good friend anywhere if given the chance.
not a bad state, but much better ones out there.
