Ganz außerhalb des Kontextes, keine gute interpretation, es ist ein mittelalterliches Marienlied, eigentlich ein Wahrfahrtslied, total ungeeignet für den sogenannten "Gothic"-Trend. Außerdem wenn das Lied nicht gesungen ist, wird es so stink langweilig. Wirklich, das Emsemble Jordi Savall bietet eine viel bessere Interpretation.

This was shot at Castle Hornberg. It is situated above Neckarzimmern in the state of Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. The castle was the home of the famous german knight Götz von Berlichingen.

The original is Stella Spendens from the Llibre Vermell, a medieval collection in Spain, part of the musical literature of the pilgrimage route to the shrine in Santiago de Compostela. Many early music groups do it. All of them are different, none of them sound quite like this. I liked the band. Something different for the EM crowd.

Das hier hab ich aus dem Interview:

1992 stand ich dann das erste Mal als Musiker auf einem Mittelaltermarkt Brandan von Corvus Corax hatte mich mitgeschleppt. Hier spielte ich mit Bernd Dobbrisch (Wim von Corvus Corax) und Karsten Liehm (Castus). Auf demselben Markt spielten auch Teufel (Mike Paulenz), Bo und Hatz, die immer etwas im Windschatten von Corvus segelten. Teufel war kurz zuvor von Corvus Corax rausgeschmissen worden.
