NO vote = we are still in the EU, like we are now, and the EU must be more accountable to the people of Europe. It stops the runaway power of the EU parliament and its gravy train expenses.
YES vote = no way back, we can't undo mistakes made in the treaty or the EU, our say in EU is halved. Some countries say is doubled.
The mature thing is to stand up and tell EU to correct the problems, not to give in to the accusing tut-tutting of EU politicians trying to tell us we should be embarrassed.
The 5,000 strong EUROPEAN GENDARMERIE FORCE (EGF) is patiently waiting for the Lisbon treaty to be ratified.
It will be "first and foremost at the disposal of the EU" and deployed across Europe (also U.K) for "crisis management operations" ( i.e. demonstrations and riots ).
They come from Rumania,Italy,Spain,France,Holland & Portugal with Turkish « observers ». All wear a badge with a grey flaming grenade & sword .
The Lisbon Treaty creates a secretive new Standing Committee for Internal Security, known as COSI : new proposals will create an EU ID card register, internet surveillance systems, satellite surveillance, automated exit-entry border systems operated by machines reading biometrics and risk profiling systems.

What are we going to tell our grandchildren when they ask us why we let Big Brother happen ?
Islams prophet, Mohammed, was a paedophile and raped women. He cut the heads of 600-800 people. He was a sly bully who used trickery and lies.
He maintained that getting your way by any means possible was acceptable. He made up islam as he went along and broke his own earlier rules when it suited him.
Muslims see him as the perfect man and look to follow his example.
Islam is not a religion, it is a cult of oppression & bullying. look up islam-watch. Org
I'm from Poland and I don't buy this European hype neither; it's just German Reich + Freench Empire in postmodern PC camuflage. I'm not a great fan of democracy neither being monarchist but this Eurogulag they're building is ten times worse.
The Irish Government is close to bankruptcy, as are a number of its banks, the government cannot afford to bail them out as has happened in UK and US, so it will need money from Europe, however to get the much needed funds the Irish people will have to pass the Lisbon Treaty, and they will.
If the Irish give in, then we all lose. The EU is patently acting illegally by pushing forward with implementing the constitution (sorry, I meant, of course, the Lisbon treaty).
I have picked up a couple of vids on my blog which really show how much the EU parliament despises popular representation.
Until this constitution affair, I was very pro-Europe (for business, free travel), but I am now worried that they care only for power, not freedom, not democracy, not even the rule of law.
True but the UK and US govts can burden this debt and besides the bailouts were esential to economic survival, why do u think they did it? do u think u know better then the top economic scientists?
The word conspire means a plot. We are not plotting anything, we inform and try to POINT OUT EVIDENCE! Something most politicians and bankers LACK.
Choose your response carefully, by using the word 'conspiracy' you've convinced me you're either indoctrinated or conditioned to respond exactly how I think you will... ;)
Well it looks like I will be right, recent polls suggest Ireland will pass the Lisbon Treaty second time around, with most people citing the Economic situation as the reason. SO i dont think im an idiot.
What does the latin phrase that Mr. Hannan utters at the end of his brief speeches in the EU parliament mean? Does anyone know? Can you translate? Thanks! Keep it up Mr. Hannan! We need hundreds more just like you in the EU and British parliament, as well as the US Congress.
Greets from Denmark, i love Nigel farage. We need to fight the EU, they do anything without our approval.
People that love freedom should also check out Ron Paul and american politician who fights for freedom in the USA like nigel farage fights for the europeans freedom
Thank you Dan, for taking a very important legal stance!
They must be absolute fools not see what the real political agenda being pushed, very hard by some, in the 'EU House" really means to future personal freedoms and democracy.
It would certainly appear history is about to repeat itself but everyone is too busy or otherwise occupied to even take any notice!
i.m.o. it's a very sad and extremely dangerous state of affairs.
Freedom reigns.

As a European taxpayer who helps to finance the over-paid and un-elected commission....I would like to ask two simple questions.
1. Why is a man who tortures & incarcerates his political opponents INVITED to take part in EU `talks ´?
I refer to Belarus´ president Alexander Lukashenko.
2.Why is the commission so keen to see Croatia join the EU ?
To quote Croatian journalist Goran Flauder ´ We like to say where Italy is a state with a Mafia,Croatia is a Mafia with a state ´.

we will not....

Oh yes because the UK are now in Negative equity and the US owes trillions they clearly did the right thing with bailouts.
We don't have to pass the treaty, we'll do fine without it.
Fuck facism, Fuck the EU.

The phrase is "Pactio Olisipiensis censenda est", which roughly translates as "the Lisbon treaty must be put to the vote."
bertieg23 2 years ago 2
It's based on Cato the Elder ending every speech with "Carthago delenda est" or "Carthage must be destroyed" during the Punic wars.
