The results from these (controlled) trials show, without exception, no noticeable difference in the occurrence of autism, but a more than significant reduction in the rates of measles, mumps and rubella. Is this solid evidence? I'm really not sure.

Firstly, the comparison of diagnosis procedures- is someone showing the same symptoms going to be identified as autistic in both places? Secondly, controlled trials where the only difference between the external chemical influence on two groups of children is whether they are vaccinated. The first really needs to be done. The second has been done and shown no increase in autism among vaccinated children.

None of those links can ever be tested for as they don't happen early in life. Nobody will EVER know what the long-term effects of vaccines could possibly be. Recent Long term studies( they can be helpfully found among the references for the Wikipedia page about this vaccine, within easy reach) have shown that the Hep B vaccine is long lasting. It is hopefully clear to both of us that those at high risk of contracting Hep B could be out of reach of the system by the time they are at risk of contracting it. There is also strong evidence to suggest that the vaccine reduces the occurrence of liver cancer in children.

Infectious disease has been in decline for a long time due to improving standards of hygiene in the first world. Two interesting comparisons exist to be explained separately.

We can see that while they were both declining before the vaccine was developed due to increasing public health quality, after the vaccine was developed one declines at a markedly faster rate, often to the point of extinction, while the other levels out or continues to decline slowly. This comparison can be applied to Flu and Measles, or HIV and Hepatitis.

Vaccine ingredients include formaldehyde, mercury derivative thimersol, attenuated or inactivated virus among other chemicals listed on MSDS as toxic. That is the "Material Data Safety Sheets" that are required in all laboratories of all the chemicals in the lab and their hazards and chemical profiles. However as with everything the choice should ultimately be up to the individuals/guardians on the topic of vaccines.
