  • :O wrong rolling stock. You have an LNER locomotive but you have GWR pullman coaches. But no one really cares :P

  • @fulf1

Pullman coaches ran everywhere, not just on the GWR, so they are correct coaches!

  • heyy mate can you please tell me how you wired the railway to make it waterproof thanks

  • Hi, the cable is all 15amp runs under the base boards to four points on the layout, this gives a good supply with no power drop, my power supply is in the shed, i have a Gaugemaster wireless system now, which is good for 50 feet { Rails of Sheffield} i can run in light rain but the engines are not waterproof so any more than a spit and in they come, also i have a surge breaker fitted, i would not run OO in the rain as the wheels will drive moisture up into the motor & blow your chips if fitted

  • @derinr thanks alot, because im thinking of running a small branch line up and down my graden nothin as good as yours :)

  • To Trailblazer65 Peco OO gauge track survives outside ok providing you fix it down well ( a track pin every sixth sleeper) or you can cover it with lengths of polystyrene foam about 4cm thick to insulate it from the heat. Don't leave locos in the sun for too long otherwise they'll fade and melt. I live in NSW.

  • Do you know how the track copes in high temps because it can get up to 45c in Australia?

  • may have problems in that heat, would use a larger scale, thanks

  • we can run in light rain, the track is nickel silver so does not rust

  • what happenes when it rains?
