I did something similar to this on the way to work on a foggy morning, had 2 others in the car, passed up a van and literally came within a foot of hitting a semi head on in the other lane. I was INCREDIBLY lucky and it makes you think twice about doing stuff like this. Of course I was much younger and the road did allow cars to pass. I may have died and killed two of my friends in the process. Always good to be safe than sorry.
