  • Porque o mundo inteiro nao adota esse tipo de automovel !?

  • The level of noises that these motos produce are pollutents! But its very important this inovation of course!

  • 2011 and where are the cars? Oil politics didn´t let them out?

  • @GusTube00 well, the las notice i found about this project was, the developers sell the technology for TATA motors.

  • @inventorisac

  • first thx to response here and nice discuss without flame, i think this technology will be very good for the world in a near future, it already start with TATA, search it on wikipedia, search for AIR CAR please read all and look for the links!!

  • Man, this is a car that runs on AIR!! so stop the negs! OK .its not perfect..yet.. But remeber the petrol engine is a weapon of mass destruction!

  • Is it just me, or is it really freaking loud?

  • Almost sounds like a lawn mower (go cart?) .

I want to see crash test results.

Either way, I see a market for them!

  • Im so sorry read your dissapointment about the technology, but a have good news about!

The TATA Indian Automobilies buy the rights to product a car with this thecnology.

  • Who said they BUYED some rights? The agreement ENVISAGES Tata's supporting further development and refinement of the technology and its application and licensing for india.

  • Just watched another video and claimed mileage between fill ups is 200km which works out to about 125 miles, I don't think that is so bad for something that is being sold as mainly a city car.

  • Wouldn't be so bad if it would be correct. But I tell you it isn't. Like most of the story. The whole thing seems to be a very intelligent investor trap. Better don't fall in. You won't get out.

  • If any of the major car companies were to sink some real money into this idea then there would be air powered cars on the streets before the end of the decade.

  • No there wouldn't. Ppl don't want to drive @ 30 mph everywhere.

  • if you watch the film again you will notice they claim a top speed of 110kmh which is about 65mph and as for range they do not make a claim in the film but range is purely down to tank size just the same as in a petrol powered car, and it only takes 3 minutes to refill the tank which is way ahead of electric cars at present

  • You can't easily scale up a compressed air storage tank because of the pressures involved. The demonstrated range is about 100km IIRC. The range decreases seriously with speed.

Also you *cannot* easily 'recharge' it in 3 minutes either !

  • Every single video I've seen about this car and the info I've read on the net all claim a recharge time of three minutes when recharging from a high pressure compressor, what makes you doubt this claim ?, do you have some info that contradicts these claims or is it that you just hate the idea of a world where oil is less important/needed ?

  • To fill the tank in 3 minutes, you need a compressor with a driver of approx. 650 kW! How does Négre say in one of the videos? They must still do the planning of the filling stations...

  • They claim...and everybody seems to believe it. Is there nobody who studied thermodynamics and makes a few basic calculations about all the performance data? How about driving in winter? I have to use car heating for 6 monthes a year.

  • Not everybody drives in a climate like you. There are a large number of people who drive in rather hot environments. They will cry all the way to the bank, while you put your money into oil energy sources.

  • Compressed air *insn't a fuel*.

This guy has been conning ppl for 9 years now.

  • man its not a fake!

  • How do you know? Did you check the data? I did.

  • you are right air is not strictly a fuel, but compressed air is stored energy just like a spring or a weight that can be set free to deliver it's energy and we know compressed air works because millions of people use it everyday to power workshop tools, C,A would be a lot easier to get up and running than Hydrogen but nobody is listening

  • The problem is that it's a very lossy way to store energy and the car has limited range and speed.

  • anytime you use energy you lose it thats a given, in a gas powered car you burn petrol to provide power and once it's burnt it's lost...you don' burn it and have it magicaly return to the tank do you!, range is governed by tank size just the same as in gas cars, once you've burnt your fuel you have to buy some more.

  • Compressed air storage is lossy compared to batteries. Batteries will give you 90% or better of the energy back. With compressed air it's more like 50%.

  • same kind of shit they said about cars when they first came out. now look where its gone. as it improves you'll be seeing a lot more of them. this one is real and it's closer to mass production than you think.

  • It's not close to mass production at all. Where did you even get such a crazy idea ?

  • great video, when did you recorded this?

  • its a 2005 video, now the company change name and i dont remember the name... stay tune more info next days, thx to comment and please pass it out for your friends the world must know it!
