I honestly didn't like that scene too much where he basically pushed himself through Alastor. Dante removing Rebellion in DMC4 was more plausible I thought. But this game was old old so I guess it has it's excuse, people didn't put much thought into it's tangibility.
I know what you mean, when Trish cried in DVM1after Dante defeats Mundus he told her that tears are a gift gave to humans, but Dante cries when he lost Vergil in the demon world in DVM3, so that´s why he chose the name Devil May Cry for his shop...
so... devils may cry, and plus, Trish IS a demon, ´cuz I saw the anime, and there they say that trish is not a human... Thanks for replying anyway ^^
oh in DMC3 he called it Devil May Cry.. but it was after what Lady had said to him. Then he said sort of hte same thinf to Trish and he renamed his shop after that :o
and remember that in dvm4 the name of Dante´s "shop" is devil may cry... in the anime they explain that Trish and Dante worked together for a while but they splited up ´cuz it was more effective to hunt demons down that way, and then he changed his shop´s name... once more... :P

I love DMC1, the artwork, the music, the gothic atmosphere, it is a Devil may Cry, a hard core cation Rezident Evil,....
