It must be so distressing feeling that you're in the wrong body. I don't have any problems with this kind of stuff, if anything I approve of it since all that really matters in your life is that you're happy. So i say good for her.
Thank you so much for this interview! I am a M2F Transexual going though transition here in Australia and it's people like you that make it easier to make it through the tuff days. You know the ones? When you look in the mirror and a shadow of a beard is all you see or someone mocks you on the street. No one in there right mind would wake up and decide to be Transgender! I did not choose this, God just messed up the plumbing! Big hugs, Crystal J.
Thanks for showing this interview. I really enjoyed watching 'Sex Change Hospital' in the UK. All I can say is thank god for wonderful people like Dr Marci Bowers, she's amazingly talented and seems to be a very nice lady. I am due to start my training in surgery and i'd love to be able to work with a Surgeon like Marci. Keep up the great work and enjoy your well deserved success.
I wish there were more surgeons like her here in the UK. People say it's a question of training but, I think, it's also a question of the persons personal standards and care for themselves and their patients.
Mabye transexuals SHOULD 'think about it'. If you look down on your cock and balls, and think to yourself "ugh this doesnt match how i *feel*", mabye you should consider that mabye it does. Why label your feelings 'womens feelings'? Acting effeminate and wearing womens clothes is something REAL MEN do.
I can understand though, how some men seek to change their bodies so society will give them as 'women' the love, acceptance and respect an effeminate man can never have.
Transexuals seem to have a very FIXED traditional idea about gender, as to what a 'man', or a 'woman' is, and feels like.
What's wrong with just being an effeminate guy?
I know, theres a lot of pressure in our society for men to NOT be gentle, soft spoken, sweet, kind and passive, but I hope effeminate guys find other sources of love and acceptance, without having to change their bodies to imitate the gender they *think* matches how they 'feel'.
there is a huge social stigma, and major consequences for people who choose to be "out". I am happy for people who do that, but being stealth does not mean that I am "ashamed". I am very happy to be a MAN.
I am totally impressed on the true explanation of what myself and many other people are facing to be whole

It's a damn shame that people are hacking up their bodies to be something they will never be.
