There's no such thing as American oil any more. These are multinational corporations. If you let multinational corporations extract all this oil, they're going to sell it to the highest bidder, whether it's China, or India, it doesn't matter. Why would we throw away America's beauty chasing the lost drops of oil, so multinational corporations can sell it to India and China? Because the oil companies OWN Bush. And Bush owns millions of dollars of Exxon/Mobil stock.

This is such a scam I can't believe anyone except maybe someone who thinks FOX is news would fall for it. Oil companies are not even bothering to drill on the leases both onshore and offshore that they have or could purchase. Why should they when they are making record profits and can drill for the oil later when it is worth more after the Republicans further destabilize the middle east? A 2004 DOE report said drilling offshore in Alaska would save 3.5 cents a gallon of gas in 2027.
