I think that it's well worth the money, and with a 2-year contract, it's probably the best free phone offered by Verizon.

Pros: Clear speakers, great display

Cons: Low megapixel camera, although pictures do still look great on the phone's display.

Yes, the sound quality's great, and it's loud when you turn it up. If you have a ringtone that's a song, it'll be crisp and clear, along with calls.

Its only downfalls are the brightness not being able to reduce. (Hurts your eyes when you're just waking up or tired. :( )

The camera's still shots are actually pretty good, but if you're turning the camera trying to get a picture of something moving, it's not going to happen. There's no self portrait mirror by the camera, either, but you can just point it at your face and snap a quick picture. I wouldn't recommend this phone if you're huge on taking pictures. Since this phone doesn't require a data package, it's a lower quality one. (They want 10 dollars a month extra for 2 years to get a good phone)

It's an amazing phone, and yes there are different menu themes. The only bad part is that it only comes with two backgrounds, so I'd suggest finding your own online or taking a picture to use as your own. (The two are a tree and the bicycle one that you see in this video)

this phone is the shit i just got it and I'm charging it is a sick ass phone just by looking and feeling it the texture is smooth not plastic or silicone also it has a bad ass keyboard plus i got mine on black Friday and got a jawbone for free so I'm sicked when there both charged i can mess with there features but any who its a sweet phone i would recommend it for anyone who doesn't like big phones and needs a keyboard with a touchscreen XD XP

Are you able to also text on the touch screen? Does it have T9 and/or QWERTY? I recently bought the CRUX and already sent it back for a replacement because texting on it was so bad (I had a phone with a physical keyboard very similar to the normal cosmos).

That's what it's called! XD Yeah it only has a T9 for the touch screen's texting, the QWERTY is the slideout part.

They both have nearly the same features, the Crux has the better camera, but the Cosmos has a slideout qwerty keyboard, where the Crux only uses the touch screen for everything. (I personally needed a solid keyboard, I can't stand typing on a screen.) They're both nearly the same but they just boil down to what you want.

Oh, texting on the phone is easy! I haven't owned a phone with a qwerty keyboard until earlier today and I'm already used to it. The keys are made of plastic, so your fingers do sometimes slide from one key to the next unconsciously, but I'm texting with minimal errors. I literally had only been using the phone for 20 minutes before I made this review, so I'll be sure to make some time by this weekend to actually get a good review up, and not just this. (Maybe when it's light outside?)

I've noticed something negative about this phone though; I have a signature, and whenever I open a received text, it opens my signature and not the new message. This is fixed if you just slide the keyboard once in whatever direction it's not in when you open the text. That confused me at first I thought I'd share that with you guys.

Yes you can, but only with the standard texting. It's not a qwerty on the screen, just a... number thingy. If you know what I'm talking about. Haha :P it's like the 1=symbols 2=abc etc. for those people that don't like using a qwerty keyboard.
