And also they talk about the assins trying to get the main character back, the previous test subjects being changed and killed by the strain of the animus, and how they interpreted Altair's memories as well as something about a ship?? I can't remember what it said about that off of the top of my head.

The email in the conference room relates to another animus, the several other artifacts being contained, the ones they possess and can't keep under control (One that manipulates or distorts time etc etc.) and hint that they tie into the new animus. Also the new satellite they intend to launch and thier other locations and projects. The other facilities all contain other artifacts or are set up to study them when they're obtained (Hints they already know about all of them but don't have them)

it is something from beyond. btw, i think vidic is the reancornation of mosayef, and when vidic saw the piece in dasmonds memory, he realized that he is mosayef and that's why he said to kill dasmond after the check.
