  • I just love this dance...

  • Brilliant!

  • My favourite dance...

  • You are magnificent like from Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice!

  • @Ariannelena Thank you, you are really sweet :-)

  • Very nice! You are all very beautiful. I also like the way the music changes key after the first round. Is it live music?

  • @dbmozart

Thank you so much for your kind comment I am really glad you enjoyed the clip. Music is a mix of live and recorded…

  • @kefaad Thank you for your comments and I hope you get your Regency dance group really soon. If you are interested in attending some of our balls please do get in touch – you will be most welcomed!

  • @BellaBellaIzabella Thank you very much indeed for your invitation. Look forward to visit England again.

  • Do not reply like an uneducated arrogant my dear. Of course we know it. Lord Byron(after his scandalous life came in Greece to fight with our side the Ottomans). Every country has its own culture. Do not forget that all the ancient Greek revival in arts during this period has to do with Greece and its cause for freedom. Jane Austen is very well known believe me and we have many translations of her work. Such a snob...

  • @kefaad I live in Athens, Greece, and the last thing i wanted is to insult my own country, ok ? It's just that i can hardly find one or two person with whom to talk about Jane Austens books and honestly, even if i would so much like it there is not a chance -as you say- to see people dancing in Regency balls. I mean, we barely honour our own anchestrty for goodness sake.....! We have succumb to the allures of kitch in both music AND art - with only a few exceptions !

  • @kefaad Alas, Athens doesn't even know the meaning of the word Regency. Even Jane Austen is barely known as a writter....

  • @margo3883 Come on let’s be nice here, no reason to insult anyone.

  • @BellaBellaIzabella Sorry, i didn't mean to sound offensive. Obviously kefaad is a compatriot of me, so i was addressing him as Greek to Greek. I was born and raised and still ive in Athens and believe me, there are not a lot of people who appreciate Jane Austens' book. Let alone taking a chance in Regency dancing. All this stuff is merely nonexisting.

  • @margo3883 Thank you Margo, well I have an idea… why don’t you and Kefaad organise Greece’s first Regency/Napoleonic ball? I would LOVE to attend one in your beautiful country.
