  • @TheWolverineTimes BTW, looking at this comment you responded to....it amazes me how badly Obi Ezeh regressed. 2007 was his best year! He was a tackling machine in 07 even though he missed alot of his reads (being a redshirt freshman, thats perfectly understandable). I truly believed Ezeh would morph into the next David Harris, and instead, thanks to Jay Hopson, he absolutely collapsed. What a trajedy.

    Go Blue

  • @TheWolverineTimes Yeah. I know. What can I say? I was enthusiastically optimistic about the talent and experience we had going into 2008, and thanks to the shittiest coaching Michigan has ever had, we went 3-9...then 5-7...then 7-6. 2005 was better then all that, and 05 was supposedly the year of infinite pain. Oh well. At least dickrod has been fired. Hoke may not be the next Bo, but he'll probably be much much better than dickrod.

  • We should have MSU. I'm worried about Wisco, PSU, and OSU. The rest should be ok. It's not doomsday yet

  • You know, despite the fact we scored a modest 28 points, this was probably our best offensive performance of the entire 2006 season. We had frickin 518 yards of total offense, Mike Hart went off for 195 yards, Mario Manningham had 5 ctaches for 131 yards and a TD, and Adrian Arrigton had two big TD catches. Henne threw for almost 300 yards (284 on the day). Our offense was unstoppable in this game. I'm surprised we didn't score more points.

  • osu's defense has a young defensive line & few new folks in the secondary, so Michigan should have a good time as long as they don't make any mistakes

  • this is what we should of done against osu and usc

  • Against Ohio State, we DID put up 39 points and 397 yards of total offense, and Mike Hart exploded for 23 carries, 142 yards, and 3 TD's. Henne was also just as good against Ohio State as he was in this game.

  • yeah i know i meant in 07 06 we should have won that game but shawn crables helment to helment hit on troy smith but oh well its in the pass now

  • Yeah, Shawn Crable sure did fuck that game up for us. But like you said, its in the past. We'll beat the Buckeyes in 2008

  • yeah i mean 06 was a great game but i cant wait to see this year i think michigan wont be as bad as everyone is making it seem and next year with beaver and newsome at QB

  • Under RR, Michigan will be a powerhouse right off the bat and for years to come. All thsoe naysayers predicting a 5 or 6 loss season don't know shit about the Wolverines players or their schedule. Michigan will win at least 10 games in 2008. I personally think they will go 11-2 and beat Ohio State and win the Big Ten outright

  • yeah i think we will be like 8-4 this year but we have a great chance to beat the buckeyes for example in 1969 no one expected michigan to beats woodys team that year that year is just like this year

  • who do you think we will lose to?

  • this what i think utahwin miamiwin notredamewin wisconsonwin illinoisloss toledowin pennstateloss michiganstateloss purdeuloss minnesotawin northwesternwin osuwin bowlgame?

  • Whoa. Those are weird predictions. You ahve us winning against Wisconsin, but not Michigan State? I don't mean to criticize you my Michigan friend, but those predictions are a whack. There is no way in hell we lose to Michigan State or Purdue barring injury. A loss to illinois is a possibility, but a small one. I wouldn't be surprised if we lost to Penn State and Ohio State (although i think we WILL beat both teams) and i think we'll lose to Wisconsin. But MSU and Purdue? No. Not going to happen

  • actually msu is getting better i dont want fight about this with u cause u and me agree on a lot so far but they almost beat us last year and this isnt the same msu team in the past there on a mission this year to beat us after last year but i dont want them to win and purdue is just a possabilty

  • I won't argue with you if you insist, but I think you should reconsider your predictions my friend. Peace out. Go Blue!

  • u have to agree though that are defense is gonna kick totall butt this year tim jaminson and terrence taylor morgen trent donaven warren steivee brown john thompson obi ezeh and theres more guys that are gonna do well this year

  • I totally agree. Defense is the number one reason why I see us going 11-2 this year. i mean, defense wins championships, right? Well, our 2008 defense consists of two dominating pass rushers in Jamison and Graham, tow 3-year starters in Trent and Taylor, two shutdown cornerbacks in Trent and Warren, and a dominant middle linebacker in Ezeh. No one except michigan fans know who he is right now, but Ezeh is going to be something special. He's my favorite Wolverine right now.

  • yeah are defense will carry us to were we need to go i think grady will have a break out year

  • Also, even though we lose Jamar Adams and Brandet Englemon, I don't think safety will be a problem with Stevie Brown at free safety and Brandon Harrison at strong safety. Outside linebacker is the only question mark on defense going into 2008, but its not like Michigan is short on high quality athletes at OLB.

Because of our defense, among many other things, i see michiagn going 11-2 in 2008, with losses to wisconsin and to a Pac 10 team in the Rose Bowl

  • i dont think we could 11-2 but we are not weak like others think we have a lot of talent the only problem is the first few games are offense will mess up and throw some pics every now and then but we'll get better RR is are coach he knows what to do

  • GO BLUE!!!

  • Dang straight
