  • @Goshtasppur ostad be nazare man ke zibast , khosoosan in ke tar dar zamane ghajar be hamin shekl navakhte mishode , , hamin tor por salabt o por sorat o ba eine hal gooya va vazeh

  • zarbi bessiar ustad bood, afarin, afari, afarin

  • the pauses and restraint exercised in 200 - 240 is breath taking

  • Tombak in bulgarian means belly :-)

  • gashange

  • Besiar ziba. Az postetoon sepasgozaram.

  • Such musicians deserve a lot of respect simply because of being able to produce such an amazing piece of art out of their instrument. At least it is my opinion.

  • anybody knows the name of the Tar Player?

  • Please read the information in the upper right hand (More About this Video...). His name is Behzad Ravaghi by the way. What do you think of his playing?

  • very charectristic style accompanied by a very respectable performance.thanks

  • fantastic...Precise and sensible playing.

    thanks

  • Well done. The playing was very technical and nice. It reminds me Vaziri's play.

Specially I like the dashti introduction part.

    Keep practicing!

  • once upon a time most players had unique style. now we hear something we have not heard before and we ask "is this persian ?" once universal university method of teaching became popular more and more players sound the same. it was better when there were more different styles of teaching , playing and less uniformity pressure. it was free art.

  • beautifully said Raknrollin

  • This is not persian is it?

  • It is Persian. To be more accurate the introduction is from the Advanced Radif of Vaziri and the rhythmic melody is a reformation of a very famous Mazandarani folk song, "Joni-Joni" but I know where your question is coming from, the Tar player has an unusual high technique for Persian Tar and he is also from Tabriz.
