No. iAcces is required. Apple changed the way the keyboards work on 3.x.

hi gumballtech...i have a question. I have installed the emoji app, and can now run the emoticons. i also have done the steps for iAcces 4 and have added your repo, as well as downloaded the 12iAccess kb's...which show up in my winterboard. but, for some reason, when i tap globe it still goes from regular kb to emoticons back to regular kb. any suggestions or know of something i may have done wrong? thanks...i've had a iphone less that a week. im new.

i have winterboard installed and after i chose a KB, which was BB Storm Black, i exited winterboard and then i was waitin for it cos it was loadin, i went to the keyboard and stayed the same. WTF is the problem??

Hi! Thank you for your comment. I finally was able to download iaccess and got it working just now. But now, I'm trying to download pogoplank and it gives me an error message that says something like this "legacy installer not supported. this interface is only capable of working with exact repo url's" I have iphone 3g version 3.1.2. when i installed iAcces, it worked at first then deleted it self then i tried re-installing it and it gave me some message in chinesse and then kicked me off, then every time i try to get on, it wont let me back on. and i have 3.1.2 firmware. what do i do?

Uninstall iAcces, then redo all the steps again.

And make sure you're using iAcces3 (if you can find it) instead of 4, since it may be a little different than 3.

No you have to switch the image folder in the iAcces4-PureEnglish theme with your own keyboard image folder then select the theme again the iacces 4 app then reboot

When I got a themed keyboard the theme works just not the keyboard. what im saying is that the keyboard is the same as when you get a brand new iphone.keyboard is white.

Those are apart of the ChatKit.framework, which can be found in /System/Library/PrivateFramewo­rks/ChatKit.framework. You're looking for "Balloon_1.png" and "Balloon_2.png".

when u have a theme keyboard like when u click right next to number button on the bottom right corner does ur somtimes turn into a chinese keyboard? it happens sometimes to me when i wanna type a number and i click it and a chinese keyboard pops up

Normal. There's actually a key for "Japanese" right between the number key and space bar (look at the Blue KB), which isn't anything that can be removed.

Yeah, what Falcon said. After it's installed, Cydia should say that you have to respring. You do that, then when it's done, reboot. iAcces is really picky about what we need to do, and since it's in Chinese, we can't figure out what it says.
