I don't think there is another person on earth(with the exception of Don Wayne) that can replicate the Reno sound like you do. It is always a joy to hear you and your family play. God Bless.
Strewth! This track is awsome, and inspiring. I am currently learning G banjo and this guy for me is totally inspirational...I try to play along with him, in my own humble way.(Should be ok in about 100 years). Ray
I have just watched and listened to your version of Grandfather's Clock and it blew my mind. I have been struggling with my banjo for more years than I care to remember and while I play a mediocre version of the same piece, as I had no one to teach me and no one about who played the banjo, I did not realise just how wonderful it could sound in the hands of an expert. Great job
Wow man, wow! That sounds so cool. I play mostly scruggs style banjo, and I'm starting to get into Bela Fleck too. Reno style kinda sounds like a mix of the two, in a way. I like Reno Style a lot. Is there any specific rolls or anything that make this style differ from Scruggs and Fleck? Thanks.
Closest to Don Reno I ever heard! Terrific job!
