  • this cartoon's theme over the credits would be used later in the 1952 Daffy/Porky short "Fool Coverage" but would sound a little different. plus this score was heard in a few parts in the 1942 cartoon "A Tale Of Two Kitties"

  • Why does the WB Shield look a little stretched out tha its supposed to look on 1947-53 cartoons?

  • Great find! If WB decides to release a collection of Sylvester cartoons that do not feature Tweety on DVD, you should share this with WB so that this cartoon can once again be seen with its original titles.

  • Let me ask this: Does the end title have blue/red rings on red b.g., or does it have vermilion rings on dark blue b.g.???

  • Blue/Red rings,IIRC.BTW 1054 was the prod.# date, and 11893 the MPAA #. It was copyrighted (c)1947 and released October thatyear, being in Cinecolor ("technicolor releases" being much longer to take to make.) THe director of this got most of those being a "lesser" director, i.e.,a junior one at the WB house.

  • @ClassicTVFan82

Vermillion rings on dark blue b.g. obviously.

  • The type for the credits (Davis credit incl.O) is the exact same as "The Pest that came to dinner." Anamolies: BILL, rather than WILLIAMScott, and an "and" between the LLOYD TURNER and BILLSCOTT credit rather than the usual hypen.

  • For years, the only print available of this was the mid-'50s "Blue Ribbon" reissue (minus the opening credits)....
