I remember when this album came out. I was pissed off because I wanted more of a Party Rock album like Mellow Gold and Odelay with less hip hop than Midnight Vultures. What we got was more of a sequel to Tropicalia...an absolutely outstanding album in its own right. This album really blew me away. I can't think of ANY artist who can cover as many genres as Beck...and do it as well as he can. Truely a one of a kind artist. Thank you, Beck. You are truely inspirational.
